Actually the same would be true over most of America these days.
To be fair, the Paris gang were better prepared, having scouted, etc. They were ready to deal with the pair of armed French police at the Hebdo offices.
The Texas pair seem to have shown up with no plan to deal with armed police who were likewise stationed at the venue.
I have been to Garland. It is nothing like Paris.
Right. Paris Texas is much much smaller. ;)
From all indications, they did show up with a plan to deal with armed police. Their plan was to shoot their way in.
Didn’t say it was a *good* plan. And it would have worked if all they’d faced was some unarmed security guards and a couple of cops. Unfortunately for them they ran into several fire teams worth of cops and private contractor ‘security.’
Are we finally going to start playing “Cowboys and Muslims”? And will it start in Texas?
