Hillary Rodham Clinton will hold five fund-raisers in two days this month, low-key events in private homes hosted by a number of longtime supporters of hers — and one prominent 2008 backer of Barack Obama.
In New York City, Mrs. Clinton will appear at three receptions. One is at the home of Lisa Perry, whose husband is a hedge fund executive and who was a major supporter of Mrs. Clinton for her last three campaigns.
The second will be hosted by Milly and Arne Glimcher, who supported Mr. Obama in his 2012 presidential re-election campaign, and the third will be held at the home of Doug Teitelbaum, a hedge fund manager and longtime backer of the Clintons.
In Washington, one of Mrs. Clinton’s hosts is Frank White Jr., a member of Mr. Obama’s 2008 national finance committee and a prominent African-American businessman.
The second event there will be hosted by Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, a former ambassador and a “Hillraiser” during Mrs. Clinton’s 2008 campaign. She and her late husband have been longtime supporters of the former first couple, and they have given more than $1 million to the Clinton Foundation.
All five events offer a co-host level for someone who raises $27,000, and a host level for $50,000.

To me, this is another indicator that the Clintons have cut a deal with the Chicago Mob. The Mob may not field a POTUS candidate. Perhaps they get the VP slot and bank on Hillary's failing health.
I think that is one of the most creative spoofs I’ve seen of all time.

The way I see it, if they can get Jeb Bush as the Republican nominee, and a Tea Party candidate on the ballot in most of the big states, she can win without spending a nickle of the $2.5 billion slush fund.

Uh-huh. If she doesn’t get into any specifics, the hoi polloi will probably believe that this is for them, while the hedge fund managers and internet billionaires will know otherwise, heh-heh.
I think it’s a safe bet that Chipotle won’t be catering these events. We can assume Hillary, the champion of the downtrodden, will be surrounded by big money honchos eating filet mignon, lobster tail, and downing it with glasses of Dom Perignon just like common folk do.
In the halcyon days of the first Obama candidacy, the Kenyan adamantly refused (so he said) to take money from lobbyists, corporate, and other, Big Money interests.
No frickin' way.
And remember Obama's first inauguration? (Sniffle) it was a hopey-changey symphony of populist parties, balls, concerts, and ceremonies----just ordinary people getting together to celebrate watta great country we are...electing a black man to high office (sob).
But wait....the second time around Obama announced a BILLION DOLLAR campaign. Obama's corporate/Big Money ban had changed. Monied interests were now welcome with open arms.....and a list of big corporate donors who contributed was released.
The Public Citizen watchdog group was not pleased about the Big Money: “It’s very unfortunate and quite a reversal of what this president says he stands for.”
