Russian secret services may have executed the troops suspected of shooting down Malaysian Airlines flight MH17, say sources involved in the investigation of the crash over eastern Ukraine. The Dutch-led probe is leaning towards a conclusion that a BUK missile fired from rebel-held territory downed the Boeing 777, killing all 298 on board. And it is highly likely the aircraft was shot out of the sky by Russian military personnel, according to a report by the Netherlands' state broadcaster NOS, citing anonymous sources in the police and the group of investigators working on the probe into the plane's loss.

You’re telling the world that a B29 could fly at 32000’ in 1945 but that there’s such a thing as a modern jet fighter which can’t go over 15K or whatever for any reason other than oxygen to the pilot and that nobody in Ukraine knew how to order a scuba tank on ebay???

Did the Russians wear scuba gear when they shot down MH-17?
Okay, it's not a "fighter." It's an attack plane. The former is for taking out other planes, maybe also for bombing. An attack plane is primarily for striking ground targets. And I'm pretty sure a scuba tank isn't going to help them. Maybe you should double check the history of the Russkies in Afghanistan and the problems they had with the SU25 precisely because it couldn't climb very high.
It’s a surface attack plane and the reason it can’t fly any higher is because 1: it doesn’t have enough engine power and 2: the wings don’t generate enough lift for the weight of the craft to go any higher. B-29’s a much larger plane with a lot more wing area.
