Who didn't see this coming and more?
Good luck to those employees going to the other stores. They're a long way from the ghetto and the MetroLink doesn't go to Chesterfield.

All the talk about "food deserts" or "lack of jobs" or "nothing to do" that Negroes complain about?
I wonder why that is? Why do all the good things seem to move away from their neighborhoods?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?

The store was not meeting the needs of the business, Peera said. That is separate from the events that took place, she added, referring to the protests and looting.
I guess she “had to” say that...but still..
perphaps if she hadnt “mentioned “No Link between the RIOTS and the store folding...there would be Toys R’ Us Riots?

At this time, we do not have any plans for a new store in the Ferguson area . . . Nor does anybody else, with the possible exception of the Free at Last Bail Bond Company. (Seriously, there is such an Atlanta enterprise.)

Looting and rioting?
It does come with a logical cost.
Thinking ahead and avoiding hysterical and threatening behavior?
Priceless!
Failure to think ahead?
Joblessness, storelessness, hopelessness (sadly).

I actually believe them when they say this was not related to last year’s violence and looting. Toys R Us has been closing stores in many areas in recent years - one of the two in my area closed a couple of years ago.

The democRAT governor sure didn’t help by holding back the National Guard when the thugs started rioting. That sent a very bad message to business owners besides the victims who were robbed.

Business insurance rates probably have skyrocketed in that area, due to the rioting. [They can thank the Community Organizer and his cohorts.]
Likely, city taxes will also skyrocket, as more police will probably need to be hired. [They can thank the Community Organizer and his cohorts.]
How to create a ghost town.

Plainfield, New Jersey, is still a blighted community because of riots that happened almost fifty years ago.
Once a notorious riot happens in a community, it takes a long long time for them to bounce back. It makes no sense to run a toy store in a community that is going to be a basket case for the next half-century, at least.

If a 46,000 sqft store only has 36 employees, it would have been slated for eventual closure. That is one slow store.
