Imagine catching a lethal, fast-growing, yet operable cancer in a child before its spread. The doctors assure a high survival rate, assuming traditional protocols. Meanwhile, a third opinion proposes no treatment, believing the child can coexist normally with cancer.
Entrusted with the awesome responsibility of ensuring the childs healthy future, how long would you Think Again before opting to remove the cancerous Sword of Damocles and fear hanging over precious life?
Alas, too often leaders charged with safeguarding life have sacrificed it on the altar of normalization, preferring inaction to threat-mitigating, albeit difficult, operations.
Regretful that Western powers didnt avert World War II by restraining Hitler, Winston Churchill lamented, There never was in all history a war easier to prevent by timely action than the one which has just desolated such great areas of the globe.
Today, a confrontation-wary world faces another genocidal, fanatical and global threat: Radical Islam and its various savage and infidel-hating manifestations. Like the Nazis, who pursued a master race through ethnic cleansing, Islamic radicals seek a sharia-compliant master faith though disagreeing on the master to crush other faiths, including Islamic ones.
If the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is radical Islams JV team, as President Obama called them, Iran is its Olympic team. Long recognized by the U.S. government as the worlds leading sponsor of terrorism, Iran is the planets most dangerous regime, the title of Ted Koppels documentary about the anti-Western theocracy. Required by Allah to wage global jihad until their Messiahs return, apocalyptic mullahs uphold their constitutions commitment to a universal holy government and the downfall of all others.

The plan is to normalize relations with Iran and N. Korea before he is out.
Those are just two of his 4th quarter things.
Good call.
It’s very likely he has allied himself with the Mullahs in Tehran — and against America.
Several years ago when the "Arab Spring" phenomenon was taking place, Obama was speaking up in support of the "democracy" movements which in actuality were takeovers by radical jihadist movements. He was supportive of almost all of them except Iran which was supposedly a truly democratic movement. Obama said nothing and did nothing and Iran's pro democracy movement was squashed by the jihadists.
Thanks Obama for giving the world a new emboldened and more radicalized than ever Iran.
Of course they should, but who do you think is Statesman enough to step forward and take the lead?
Perhaps Bibi will be a catalyst, but it needs to be soon with deadlines like March 24th looming in the near future.
Until you deal with Saudi Arabia’s funding of terrorism, you can play whack-a-mole indefinitely.
I don't understand why more people don't get that. Any presidential candidates facing this truth?
Everybody knows, they just don’t talk about it. They have us by the short hairs with oil, and they know it.
There is no chance for success for a policy to reach an agreement that yields anything to a state whose only foreign policy is terrorism followed by a threat of missile-delivered nuclear weapons.
A sad story to be sure, but we can only hope that our government does nothing to intervene. The currrent modus operandi is to spend American lives and American treasure to lose wars in the long term.
He's going for the royal flush of enemy States of the US, and will call them ‘friends’.
THIS is our current President: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2015/02/12/which-image-of-obama-mugging-for-buzzfeeds-cameras-diminshes-the-presidency-the-most-ranked/
I am appalled. And aghast.

Not being sarcastic...
Remember GW Bush’s “Axis of Evil” speech in the aftermath of 9-11-01 listing Iran, Iraq, and North Korea?
Nothing new here.
