Kayla Mueller protested Israel for ISM. PalSolidarity reported:
Today, 10th February, Kayla Mueller’s family confirmed she has been killed.
Abdullah Abu Rahma, coordinator of the popular committee in the village of Bil’in where Kayla joined the protests, told ISM: “Kayla came to Palestine to stand in solidarity with us. She marched with us and faced the military that occupies our land side by side with us. For this, Kayla will always live in our hearts. We send all our support to her family and will continue, like Kayla, to work against injustice wherever it is.”

Just like the two Italian girls. They bought into the whole “Palestinian” garbage, went to Syria, and learned the hard way what the people she sympathized with are really like. I made some stupid and regrettable mistakes when I was young. So I’m inclined to a bit sympathetic to the Italian girls, but not this Jew hater. All that aside, the followers of Allah, no matter what the stripe, are bloodthirsty, medieval, rapist, barbarous savages and need to be exterminated like insects..
I don’t think she was really Jew-hating; merely an utterly conventional naive leftie who bought the line that all Palestinians are oppressed victims. I’ve spent a lot of time working in the Middle East myself (NOT as a “humanitarian”) & I’ve run into the type so, so many times - they have rarely studied the history & tribal politics of the areas they visit, & worse still, they have bought into the idea of cultural relativism so effectively that they actually believe that the people they meet are just like us - except perhaps poorer, with fewer opportunities.
I’d also take a bet on it that poor, young, misguided Kayla believed that her pro-Palestinian “activism” would buy her some security in Syria. She didn’t understand that Daesh HATES liberal activists - anyone with a political or moral agenda not set by them is to be snuffed out. There was something very wrong & very limiting in her education, & 1000s of young people are being fed the same b***shit in our schools and campuses every day. Btw I’m posting from the UK where we have exactly the same issues.

Muslim activism has grown on campuses. They have moved into student government, divestment activism, political protest, etc.
Antisemitism on campuses is on the rise.
Not necessarily a “bad boy” factor as getting involved in the “movement” around them.
The ‘anti-war’ movement of the 60s may not have been a Communist movement but there were plenty involved in the movement (in leadership roles) who were Communist.

I find this entire story confusing. She was there to support muslims and muslims held her as hostage and she was killed by Jordanians, presumably muslims as well?

That's what I think after going to the web site of the woman who first spoke at the family's press conference. Kayla was more than likely a brainwashed liberal. Look at what they are teaching in our schools here. In Florida, the students are learning all about the Muslim religion, but not about any other religion. The students actually had to learn the pillars of the Muslim religion.
I asked to see my grand-daughters homework and she told me her teacher said parents and guardians were not to look at it. I looked anyway. There wasn't anything wrong with the story, but this attitude is getting kids conditioned not to ask questions or talk to their parents about school stuff.
Give me a break.
