Pray for these folk; as well as the Supreme Court. Hearts can be changed.
sff
Anywhere we can donate to help them raise this homosexual bully fee?
This is preposterous - remedy can be found by choosing another baker.
There must be some way we the people of Oregon can ammend the Oregon Equality Act to include a religious or conscientious exemption.
This might sound harsh, but I think that if the bakers lose all their legal challenges, they should go bankrupt. They should hide as many assets as possible, then go bankrupt. Don't feed the federal beast.
Now here's what should be done (how, I don't know). After they go bankrupt, it would be nice if there were a way for us to funnel money to them. That money would not be used for fines, but to allow them to start over again.
Yes, I like your idea better. Especially the part about not paying the homosexuals.
I doubt that federal fines can be discharged in bankruptcy.
They are being discriminated against by the anti-discrimination law for their religious expressions.
so we don’t have the freedom of religion now except for muslims who want to grow beards in prisons, got it.
Administrative Hearing
An administrative hearing is similar to a court hearing and the decision of the administrative law judge has the same weight as a judge´s decision.
If the finding of the administrative hearing is in your favor, the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries issues a final order and specifies a remedy.
A remedy is an award of money or a command to the respondent to compensate you for the effects of an unlawful practice.
In cases of discrimination in employment, potential remedies include employment or reemployment, back pay or other benefits lost due to the discriminatory practice, out-of-pocket expenses having to do with the discriminatory practice and compensation for emotional distress.
In cases of discrimination in housing or in places of public accommodation, remedies may include the rental, lease, or sale of real property, the provision of services, out-of-pocket expenses or benefits lost because of the discriminatory practice and compensation for emotional distress.
If, during the processing of a complaint, the division finds that the respondent made a settlement offer that provides an effective remedy to the unlawful practice, the division will tell you about the offer. If you do not accept it, the division will close the complaint.
In cases where a complaint has been dual-filed with the EEOC, the EEOC determines whether the offer constitutes a full settlement of the federal charge.
IOW, a K-Court of leftist radicals stand ready to relieve Oregonians of their God-given rights.
Get used to it.
exactly, they have freedom of religion written in the constitution, now were does it state their sham marriage is a constitutional right?
Freedom of religion is why this country was founded and set up, it was the first amendment too as the founders knew how important it was.
The homostapo comes along with their perverted sick agenda and now they say they have constitutional rights and the first amendment doe snot count and what the hell is going on with our lawyers who seem to not be bale to articulate an argument against this perversion. Are they working for the left pretending to be for us or something as they seem all useless?
Shoulda baked one.
Substitute salt for sugar.
Ex-Lax for chocolate.
Good question ...
Regarding the fine ... since the judge assessed it, will the proceeds go to the gubmint or to the kwheers or both? If both, what portion goes to each? I ask because if a large portion goes to the gays, there is a huge opportunity for abuse here. Picture this: the Qs pick a target, walk in and demand a service that will be refused, file a lawsuit charging discrimination and then split the fine with the gubmint. Lather, rinse, repeat. There is no incentive to cease the activity.
There was a homosexual event back in 2014, in Cleveland. Some Muslim taxi drivers wanted nothing to do with it. Evidently there were no fines, no loss of licenses, nothing. Oh, and no media outrage. An event spokesperson dismissed the whole thing as "isolated".
So you see, there is tolerance for religious beliefs in many cities. You just can't be a Christian.

Here’s the thing...most people will be assessed the fine...then quit the business and leave the state. Don’t worry....the state will hire out some unit to chase these people for months and years...trying to get the fine. So, their life is ruined, period. You will eventually bankrupt enough people that we all learn to just grin and take it....with no arguments or hesitation.
I think the fine was to be paid to the homosexuals. Not good, as it gives them extra incentive, as you say. They really do have persecution of Christians as their number one reason for the lawsuits, but getting paid for it is even sweeter....icing on the cake, if you will.
Ironic - the campaign against bullying is, for the most part, to “protect” the bullied homosexuals....but they’re the biggest bullies out there.
I think I’d go “Teach English” in China, Korea or Vietnam for several years and let the State of Oregon stew in their own juices.
Yes. Substitute salt and say that now salt is sweet, a redefinition of sweet, and then let them eat cake.
We continue to see the sodomites gaining power over the rest of us. What does the future hold when queers have access to children and strangers just as they did in ancient sodom and Rome? Imagine, some pompous pig in a blackrobe pronouncing a fine of $150000 for not making a piece of pastry.
