Kerry announces planned Paris trip, says criticism for missing march 'quibbling'

Secretary of State John Kerry called criticism that no top U.S. officials attended Sunday's massive march against terrorism in Paris "quibbling" Monday, even as he announced a trip to the French capital later this week for talks on countering Islamist violence.

Kerry announced his plans at a press conference in the Indian city of Ahmedabad, where he had made a long-scheduled appearance at an international investment conference Sunday ahead of President Barack Obama's planned visit to that country later this month.

"I would have personally very much wanted to have been [in Paris]," Kerry said, "but couldn't do so because of the commitment that I had here and it is important to keep these kinds of commitments."

The thing that is most galling, I am sure, is Eric Holder was in Paris, and skipped the march. It was a purposeful slight. Eric Holder couldn’t have gone? It really is bad behavior on the Obama Regime’s part.

To be fair, the only reason the US' only official rep at the event was the little-known US ambassador to France, is that PM Netanyahu was in attendance. See, it was the fault of the Israelis.

So why didn't Secy of State John Kerry show up in Paris?

==========================================

KERRY WAS THEN A US SENATOR FROM MASSACHUSETS---Within hours of the Boston Marathon bombings by two Chechen Muslim immigrants, US government officials, and Muslims, in Boston called each other to offer assistance......just in case THE MUZZIES suffered backlash or threats.

Bomber worshipped at Islamic Society of Boston's mosque---built w/ then-Mayor Menino's govt authority.

Kerry's "credentials," presented to Ohaha when the Secy of State job became available.

==================================================

(NTL REVIEW/DAVID HANSON) The Boston bomber Tsarnev brothers---Chechan Muslim immigrants here on expired student visas---offer us a teachable moment about what has become near-suicidal US immigration policies..... the government can't, and wont, assure Americans that it is enforcing immigration laws already on the books:

(1) foreign nationals must at least avoid crime and stay off public assistance, and,

(2) the govt would be disinclined to grant "asylum" (free ride on the US gravy train) to “fearful refugees” from war-torn Islamic regions, and,

(3) forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for these "fearful foreign nationals" to travel back and forth to their supposedly hostile homelands.

DHS' JEH JOHNSON AND SECY OF STATE JOHN KERRY SIGN OFF ON OBAMA'S ORDER
will welcome into the US, immigrants with 'limited' terror contact
The Daily Caller | 2/5/14 / FR Posted by Nachum

The Obama administration has issued new exemptions to a law that bars certain asylum-seekers and refugees who provided “limited material support” to terrorists who are believed to pose no threat from the U.S.

The Department of Homeland Security and the State Department published the new exemptions Wednesday in the Federal Register to narrow a ban in the Immigration and Nationality Act excluding refugees and asylum seekers who had provided limited material support, no matter how minor, to terrorists.

“These exemptions cover five kinds of limited material support that have adversely and unfairly affected refugees and asylum seekers with no tangible connection to terrorism: material support that was insignificant in amount or provided incidentally in the course of everyday social, commercial, family or humanitarian interactions, or under significant pressure,” a DHS official explained to The Daily Caller.

Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson and Secretary of State John Kerry signed the exemptions. DHS contends that the law change is “commonsense” and that immigration procedures will remain the same in other respects. (Excerpt) Read more at dailycaller.com ...

Commitments? Quibbling? How about support and solidarity for the surviving families of the THOUSANDS of Americans slaughtered at the hands of Islamic terrorists? How about support for the THOUSANDS of AMERICAN troops who have given life and limb fighting against terrorism? I can’t think of anything that was more symbolic and important than being in Paris at the front of that march. It is despicable.

I’m sorry but, I don’t want ANY representative of the US attending a “rally”, anywhere! Jon Cary was right in his refusal to attend. [Egads, have I just agreed with the Obamugabe State Department? I must, now, expectorate!]

As another FReeper posted, “it doesn’t matter how many [passivists*] are lighting candles in the streets of Paris”, the Islamist’s are laughing at all of them for their sentimentalism.
[Islam looks at a ‘Free Press’ as “sentimentalism”; a left over from the age of the Reformation and incompatible with the Sharia “modern age”...whiich began in circa 700 AD. Yeah figger that out yer-own-selves.]

They recognize that ‘the sentimentalist’ is weak and will be (should be?) the first to die. Let’s ask the gendarme who assumed the “Hands up, Don’t Shoot!” position on the sidewalk in Paris.
Oh, wait...I guess you can’t ask him anything now...
Let’s ask the Charlie Hebdo editors that expected their pen to substitute for Kevlar vests. Hmmmmm, should I mark that down as “no comment” Mr. Cadaver?

* the FReeper posted the term “pussies”.

Boorish? Probably. Maybe it’s a security issue? That poor French policeman rides up on a bicycle, unarmed, into his own execution. The same with the female office directing traffic, with no sidearm to protect her self. Of course it didn’t happen but I wouldnt have been surprised to hear about a mortar attack or rpg being sent into their Walk Against Terrorism. If the gendarme aren’t allowed to protect their persons then what’s the guarantee they can protect anybody?

Quibbling? John F...ing Kerry knows about quibbling:

“On the floor of the Senate on March 27, 1986, Sen. John Kerry issued this statement: “I remember Christmas of 1968 sitting on a gunboat in Cambodia. I remember what it was like to be shot at by Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians, and have the President of the United States telling the American people that I was not there; the troops were not in Cambodia. I have that memory which is seared — seared — in me.” “

Yeah, like he has a vocabulary that includes the word quibble.

I think it's fascinating that if CW2 breaks out, he actually believes that someone is going to throw himself in front of a bullet to save this moron's worthless hide.

Quibble? Thank god, Kerry did not use the synonym “NIGGLE”, there would have been hell to pay.

The wimpfest of a march was pointless.

If they wanted to make a point, they would have marched into the “No Go” zones.

And they called it a “Unity Rally” but they didn’t invite Marine Le Pen and the Front National.
