The suicide of a transgender teen is catching national attention in part because of a suicide note she left behind online.
Leelah Alcorn, 17, of Kings Mills, Ohio, was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer on I-71 about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to local media.
Posthumous posts started to appear on her Tumblr page, titled “Lazer Princess,” including her suicide note and a post apologizing to her closest friends.
“My death needs to mean something,” she wrote. “My death needs to be counted in the number of transgender people who commit suicide this year. I want someone to look at that number and say ‘that’s f---ed up’ and fix it. Fix society. Please.”
Alcorn's note explains that she has felt like a girl trapped in a boy’s body ever since she was 4. Then she cried tears of joy when she learned what transgender meant at 14.
“After 10 years of confusion I finally understood who I was,” the suicide note reads. “I immediately told my mom, and she reacted extremely negatively, telling me that it was a phase, that I would never truly be a girl, that God doesn’t make mistakes, that I am wrong.”

It would if the moral deconstructionists would realize the damage they are doing to individuals and society, turn off their PC bullhorns, and allow the message to get out that people like this need serious mental help. This poor kid's confusion and self-loathing could have been addressed long ago, but no. In the name of cultural perversion we "celebrated" his disorder and let it go untreated until this happened. So sad.
Her death DOES mean something.
Mental health issues are important, and gender confusion can lead to drastic consequences if not dealt with.
Stop catering to mental health aberrations. Thinking one is a cantaloupe does not make one a cantaloupe. These people need to grasp reality if they are to avoid disaster.

This whole “pride” thing is a fool’s construct meant to bully acceptance for a position that is not logical, nor perpetuating in terms of being self-sustaining.
It is an aberration that crops up, but it is by no means ‘normal’. They, media and politicians would have us believe they are a very significant part of the overall population. They clearly are so very not.
This is sad.
It’s sad for the mother who loved her son.
It’s sad for the truck driver who will relive the horror over and over again.
And, yes, it’s sad for this teenage boy, but he made a choice to destroy two people - his mother and a stranger - along with himself. His mother simply told him the truth and loved him.

Hissing at God like this is a Bad Sign. It’s fine to ask God questions about situations that perplex, but He deserves to be heard when He answers.

I think they’ve been manipulated into it by the commies. It is certainly not in their own best interests, because when the push too far, there will be a backlash and they will end up worse off than before.
The bible account explains a lot, though not always on the level of detail that the mere curious might want. Just enough to back up the validity of the salvation-by-faith paradigm.
Sin has a dimension that transcends the mortal. Very happily, so does righteousness, and God chose to include actual salvation in His picture of righteousness — He was not content to just sit back and damn the world even though it would deserve that.

One consolation for the family is that if Leelah was a Democrat then he’ll be immortalized on the voter registration lists for decades to come.
Yes, is does mean something: it is more evidence that “being transgender” is, absent a discordance between manifested primary sexual characteristics and the person’s genetics, a morbid delusion that should be treated as a mental illness, rather than coddled by society replacing sex with “gender”, applying the pronoun determined by the delusion rather than by the sex of the person, and offering surgery and hormone injections to turn the person into a simulacrum of the sex their delusion has them believing that “are”.
Alas, that is not the meaning the biens pensants who are setting policy on such matters will take from it.
It might turn out there are actual Communist groups kicking at the corner of this hornet’s nest. It’s been expressed in various manifestos.
But we have a more fundamental problem: Demons (rebelling angels) and men who as a group threw their lot in with these demons.
Take care of that, and dealing with the evil of even Communism then becomes a mere mop up operation.
