Washington (CNN) -- Jeb Bush is the clear Republican presidential frontrunner, surging to the front of the potential GOP pack following his announcement that he's "actively exploring" a bid, a new CNN/ORC poll found.
He takes nearly one-quarter 23% of Republicans surveyed in the new nationwide poll, putting him 10 points ahead of his closest competitor, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who tallied 13%.

Worthless push poll.
OK so who was listed in the poll and what were the poll questions ???
Let me guess..
1. Would you vote for Jeb or Obama ???
2. Would you vote for Jeb or Hitler ???
3. Would you vote for Jeb or Putin ???
Don't forget on the other side, our Balloon Head in Chief has never wanted anything but harm for this country, and he still has popularity in the upper 30s.
It is wonderfully nice that CNN is choosing the next GOP candidate. We should thank them.... for telling us who to oppose vehemently.
Not again!
Ah, but the chumming around with B.J. Clinton speaks volumes.
CNN again trying to pick the winner for those who think independently. Nice try, but it ain’t anything at all what they are painting, tilting this scene to be. Stay tune for MORE news.
I will stay home.
I don’t get it, either. The poll actually showed Republican voters didn’t like Jebbie’s immigration and Common Core positions, but they’d vote for him regardless. Immigration and education are enormously important, and Jebbie is on the wrong side of both! Yet, Republicans would still vote to nominate him. CRAZY! We have to do better than Jeb!
Democrat wet dream.
“There has not been one word of comment about the failures of the Obama Regime.”
That’s because the Clintons, Bushes, McCains, Romneys, and Obamas are ideological bedfellows. They are all libs. It’s just a matter of degree. They have far more in common with each other as America’s political aristocrats than with real Americans.
If he’s the nominee, the Supreme Court is gone for decades, because there’s little chance that Scalia, Thomas, and Kennedy all stick around for the next six years.
I need some pepto.
Well, folks, the MSM has given us our 2016 candidate. I guess we better get used to it.
(Remember the days when the party candidate was actually chosen at the convention!!)
Poll taken at K street cocktail party?
Only when you leave Mitt out of the poll.
In addition, after nearly two terms of Obama, the GWB years aren't looking so bad, after all. So you get a little nostalgia thrown in, too.
While Jeb certainly wouldn't be my first choice, he's not a wildly unreasonable choice like Romney was. Or McCain, for that matter.
I know there are a lot of Cruz supporters on FR, but I'm still rooting for a Midwestern governor. There are several to choose from. A pox on the Washington crowd.
republicans love RINO’s...
