This is horrible. Earlier this week, I realized I am a hopeless romantic. Now, I am a Secret Santa.
I’m doomed.

I got off the Metro yesterday evening at Union Station and headed for the elevator. As I entered the elevator, looking behind me, I saw Charles Krauthammer and a young man accompanying him. After getting on the elevator, I greeted him, saying You look very familiar, Sir! He smiled and said thank you, I'm on my way to work. I told him I was on my way home. He asked me where and I told him Laurel, Maryland. I told him to keep up the good work on our behalf and he thanked me.
I would very much like to meet him again under circumstances where I had a chance to engage him in more than casual conversation.

Hi Luv. Says here I am Secret Santa. :-)
You are a delightfully thoughtful person, and you always know how to brighten up a friend’s day.
You would be the perfect Santa for anyone this holiday, and those who receive a gift from you are very lucky!
You are not a naturally selfish person. You take good care of yourself, but you always find room and resources to give back.
You are very intuitive and optimistic. You sense what other people need in order to make their days a little more joyful.

The old John Wanamaker store at 13th & Market. I haven't been in there in almost 50 years.
I have Hogwood's period instrument "Messiah" coming up tomorrow night. at the Canteen.

Cannot be surpassed! I had the privilege of singing this work at the 7:30 a.m Mass on Christmas morning some years ago with our Emeritus Pastor, Msgr. Robert Keesler celebrating in Latin. In those years, we had a Latin Mass every Sunday at 7:30 a.m. My music ministry at St. Mary's began as cantor of the early Sunday Mass over twenty years ago.
Sadly, the Latin Mass is no longer said regularly in our parish.

My late Father was fond of saying that the civilized world is a small place. I expect to meet Dr. Krauthammer again - we tread the same paths.
