Democratic New York City mayor Bill de Blasio launched a disgusting attack on the New York Police Department officers that symbolically turned their backs on him before a press conference to address the shooting deaths of officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.
Ramos and Liu were gunned down in cold blood, execution-style, by Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, as retribution for the recent deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. de Blasio infamously encouraged protests against his own police department in the aftermath of the grand jury’s decision not to indict the officers in the Garner case.
“Mayor de Blasio, the blood of these two officers is clearly on your hands,” said Sergeants Benevolent Association police union president Edward Mullins.
“That blood on their hands starts on the steps of City Hall in the office of the mayor,” said Pat Lynch, president of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association.

de Blasio gave the order to crack down on people selling “loosies” days before Garner was killed for selling loosies. His previous rhetoric seemed to be aimed at distracting attention away from that fact. He created animosity towards the police and toward white people in order to manage the narrative in a way that didn’t damage him.

De Blasio is his mother’s name.

I think that Mayor DeBlasio will award the posthumous Lenin Prize and Order of Mohammed to Ismail Abdullah.

In 1983, he changed his name to Warren de Blasio-Wilhelm, which he described in April 2012: “I started by putting the name into my diploma, and then I hyphenated it legally when I finished NYU, and then, more and more, I realized that was the right identity.”
By the time he appeared on the public stage in 1990, he was using the name Bill de Blasio as he explained he had been called “Bill” or “Billy” in his personal life.[9] He did not legally change over to this new name until 2002, when the discrepancy was noted during an election
