I’m going down to the DC area for Christmas. I wonder if I should strap a kayak, or a submarine, to the top of the car.

The only thing rising in DC is the shxt from the politicians. I’d recommend some tall boots.

Another empty promise to stop the rising seas if elected!

The sea level is not rising. The land is slipping toward the ocean by continental drift.

If Global Warming means Washington DC is going to be flooded beyond repair, maybe its not such a bad thing after all.

DC under water?

I think I better throw another log on the fire and release some more carbon.

Occasional flooding, once considered normal, is now treated as a harbinger of doom.

A cyclist and vehicles negotiate heavily flooded streets as rain falls on Sept. 23, 2014, in Miami Beach, Florida.

Andrew Freedman (author) must be an idiot...

It took me all 30 seconds to check the rainfall patterns in Florida for September...

Way above average...

Rising sea levels and rain falls have nothing in common except both are wet...

Question... if the oceans will rise, then why are insurance policies either issued for these properties or are why don't the insurance companies increase the premiums to cover the risk?

Second part are why are mortgages issued on the properties?

LOL. Washington, D. C. is about as close to the ocean as Sacramento, CA, is.
