No, Austin’s police chief wants people to turn in their gun owning neighbors to be vetted.
I can see that as one of several reasons Obama is pushing amnesty. Import millions of people with no questions asked. A certain percentage of them will be members of gangs. Then, Mexican style gang warfare becomes almost as common in the U.S. as it is in Mexico. Finally, argue that there is so much “gun violence” that ordinary citizens cannot be trusted to own guns.

Nice try, depicting these pre-prison prospects to a struggling Abe Lincoln trying to get an education. Having had some experience with alternative schools in my life as a teacher, at best, most students are there for social reasons. Education, paid for by the truly struggling tax payers, is the farthest thing from their minds. Gang conflicts and pregnancies were the only noticeable results of their enrollment in these programs.

On reading the school warden's comment, 'delinquent day care' sprang to mind as a descriptor.
.. tho these days, esp. among that demographic, one can imagine that the term ‘delinquent’ naively misses the mark by a couple orders of magnitude.
Most kids in that era knew how to use guns at a very young age, we were given a 22 for our 5th birthday. We were taught how to use it and how to clean it and ALWAYS put it in the guest closet when we were finished cleaning it.
