Washington (AFP) - Several NFL players showed their support Sunday for the "I can't breathe" protests sweeping the United States demanding justice for black men who have died at the hands of white policemen.
On Saturday, Chicago Bulls NBA star Derrick Rose wore a T-shirt bearing the words, which have become the slogan of the demonstrations in major US cities because they were the last phrase uttered by a black father of six in New York when police placed him in a chokehold.

Others should Photoshop their saying to “I Can’t Think,” or “I Don’t Work” or something that’ll needle them.

Pro football is stupid anyway. You end up just cheering for outfits. All the coaches and players shuffle. Money is the major motivator. We the spectators just really want our outfits to beat the other outfits. It’s stupid.
College football is better even though it is imperfect.

Overpaid, underworked bums. Time for the fans to boycott professional sports till they play the game as they are being paid to do and quit the political grandstanding.
To: Nachum
Ignore the silly "protests" by the NFL players. They are there to play football and entertain us. Some of them have the endearing notion that their opinions on political and civil matters carry some extra weight due to their athletic prowess.
Indulge them. Indulge them as you would your 8-year-old child who tells you what he is going to do when he becomes president.
To: Nachum
It’s remarkably easy to navigate life w/o the NFL.

When you see them advertising their "I can't breathe" slogan on something, slap this on the bottom of the picture to confuse things.

Baseball and NASCAR for me with a couple of stress free months during the winter.

‘I can’t play’. ‘I can’t win’. Something that gets them right in the ego. Half of them are league three-and-outs who end up in handcuffs themselves, anyway.
To: Nachum
Good for them. It’s about time this country started waking up. The cops in this country are out of control and conservatives should be leading the call for liberty.

Next Sunday, in an effort to be impartial, the NFL players are going to come out for the game wearing a t-shirt that says “Don’t Hammer Me!” To remember the Bosnian guy killed by three thugs hitting him with hammers. I’m sure they want to be fair.
