Dr. Ben Carson, author of "One Nation: What We Can All Do to Save America's Future," argued that while Officer Darren Wilson did nothing wrong in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, police should be better trained in non-lethal force such as shooting aggressors in the legs on Tuesday's "Hugh Hewitt Show."

He specified "for instance, in a lot of places, police officers aren’t even allowed to go into the more dangerous areas by themselves. They’re always paired. Or you know, people use tasers, people learn how to shoot people in the legs to stop them from charging, things of that nature. And I seriously doubt that he’d been given that information."

He’s not stupid, he’s ignorant. Ignorance can be cured. Let’s not let this get in the way of a great voice for our side. Carson has his place, unless we wreck it.
If you were paying attention you would know that Dr Carson has been around for some time now. There are many many speeches all over the country.
I saw the man in action and his positives far out weigh the negative trying to be created by progun types.

The good doctor is the dumbest smart man I have heard in a long time. A damned gun grabber. Disqualified from holding any position of power based on his non-constitutional 2A stand. This is where he tries to walk back his no guns in cities position. He punts to a “smart” gun position. This would make guns too expensive for most city dwellers, the people who need guns the most.
Gee, I did not know that criminals use their toes to shoot a gun or lunge at someone with their legs. The next time I get robbed at gun point I will let robber know he has to utilize his legs only so than I can shoot him in the legs.
Actually, I wouldn’t classify him as a true conservative. I think there’s that tinge of a RINO in him, especially when it comes to taking the second least objectionable candidate, flawed and RINO as they may be, if the other is a Democrat.
Further, it takes a real stretch of logic, believability, knowledge, loyalty to one’s race maybe, call it whatever you will, to proffer this shoot-the-leg thing. Drawing a weapon is intent to use deadly force. If the weapon is drawn, there would (should) be a deadly reason for it.
Ben has not shot many guns.

Alternately, I’ve read more than just one of his comments, speeches, interviews with which I disagree highly, and I am not prepared to sideline that just because he is a so-called black conservative.

Legs are more difficult to hit. However, if you hit the main artery in the upper leg you have a
dead person very quickly. I would think a doctor would know that.
Dr. Carson is doing plenty of wrecking all on his own.
