Another woman has come forward to claim that she was raped by Bill Cosby.
Joan Tarshis told “CBS This Morning” that the actor and comedian drugged and raped her on two separate occasions in 1969 when she was 19. She said that Cosby invited her to help come up with material for his comedy act. Then when she was on the set of “The Bill Cosby Show,” he gave her a cocktail.
“I was sitting up writing one second and the next second I was lying down on the couch having my underwear taken off,” Tarshis said.
She said Cosby then raped her again two weeks after that. She caught [sic] off all contact with him after that alleged incident.
“His MO is the same. He works with people, he gets you into a position where you think you’re going to work with him, and then he drugs you and rapes you,” she told “CBS This Morning.”

I frankly don’t care. If this really was a rape, you should have said something in 1969. or 1970. I am sure you memory of a drunken night 45 years ago is crystal clear...

I don’t think Cosby problems are less criminal....all if his so far involve levels of assault to rape

I have read some really harsh and irresponsible comments on different blogs who are blasting the young girls who had this happen to them. People should not put down / ridicule women who are coming out about Cosby drugging them because this hurts the actual victims. It could be a granddaughter, a daughter, a niece, an aunt that is trying to cope or even a guy having to go through this. He was accused of this years ago and even a case most recently ended in court with a disclosed amount of money to one victim. I just feel sorry for the women of this situation, not Bill Cosby. I have read for years about these accusations and no one would do anything only the media made a good man narrative for him.
IIRC, he is also strongly anti-gun....his son was killed with a gun....probably an illegally possessed gun - but its made Cosby anti-all guns.

No, because Bill Cosby has admitted committing unspecified bad behavior with women in the past, particularly when his wife nearly divorced him because of those incidents. Over the years there have been innumerable reports of his private behavior being diametrically opposed to his public image and persona. His biography or biographies have commented on his penchant for being a liar and seeking attention as a youth. Personally, I recall cocktail waitresses I worked with making disparaging comments about Bill Cosby in the 1970s because of incidents they witnessed while working as Playboy Bunnies at Hugh Hefner’s mansion.
So, don’t prejudicially dismiss the complaints about Bill Cosby, because some or most of the women doing the complaining may very well have more than good cause to do so.
How about the ones that did react quickly?
These old revelations surfaced because of others coming to the surface.
If he raped her once, why would she go back to work with him? Makes no sense.
Just curious, how does one clear themselves of an alleged rape that occurred 45 years ago and a subsequent rape on the same woman two weeks later with not one complaint to the local police department of either one?
If it was me, I'd keep my mouth shut too and let my attorney take care of it.
There's no way I would add validity to a bogus accusation such as this by commenting on it.........
As a side note, you may not be aware of this but in my local paper they have printed an article where a 26 year old gal has come forward and accused you of raping her back in 2008 when she met you in a bar.

I can believe the allegations. These older actors present a real danger to the naive young kids who work with or around them.

I agree the comment was horrific and how can anyone judge how a woman should react and/or who she may have told.
