This is incredible. It is precisely what the Restore the Dream 2014 movement is all about, changing minds and changing hearts while helping black people realize that the Democrat Party does not help, they damage on a consistent basis.
The woman called into C-Span during the time when Barack Obama was doing his early voting. She identified herself as Joyce and indicated that she is an 82-year old black grandmother who has been a Democrat her entire life, but voted straight down the Republican ticket this year. Her voice is filled with both anger and passion as she explains why she has left the Democrat Party.
It is worth listening to the entire two-minute segment. She begins by saying, “First, let me start by saying that I am an 82-year old, black, senior citizen grandmother and I voted straight Republican because I have been noticing for years what the Democrat party have done to my people.”
She then unleashes stone, cold facts on the devastation the Democrat Party has unleashed on blacks and how her eyes became opened to their ways. She’s in Texas and had some choice words for Democrat candidate for governor Wendy Davis that I’m sure the Davis campaign will not want to use in a campaign ad.
Holders coward line is the most stupid thing I have ever heard an AA utter. The PC crowd shuts down discourse before it starts. Another angle, lots of people are too polite to state the obvious about race.

My mom was a life-long democrat. She would use the living room of our home as a polling place.
However, when she was 90, she came to live with me. At that time, we only had one TV, and it was tuned to FOX, not CNN (which she had always watched). She got so disgusted with the way the dems were treating GW, she tried to throw things at the TV and I had to switch her over to the FOOD channel .. but just that year’s exposure to FOX, caused her to change her registration to repub .. after 70 years as a dem.
Now, that’s a grandmother that you can be proud of. May God Bless Ms. Joyce and watch over her care and safety. I would love to give her a hug. She’s awesome because she knows the truth.

Surprised they let her go as long as she did. They usually cut off Conservatives after 30 seconds and let Dems drone on.

Gays and illegals have made a total joke of the blacks in their struggle for Civil Rights. Now they are back as slaves of sexual preferences for whites.
While I don't disagree that West's pedigree and politics are astounding, I find it sad that we've degraded to a point in American politics where candidates have to "diversify" their ticket in order to attract voters who would otherwise not be interested in what whitey has to say.
Last I checked, the white man has steered the American ship through troubled waters for centuries with little more than a few torn mainsails. Meanwhile, Obama gets into power and in fewer than 6 years he's turned the ship against the wind, broken the mast, and cast us into rocky shallows in the middle of a hurricane.
I wouldn't count myself among those who view race as a determining factor in anything, but couldn't they have chosen someone like Allen West, Ben Carson, or even Walt Williams to run vs. the lifetime, positive action, self-actualized, community organizing failure that is Barack Hussein Obama?

Everything you said, Bump. Disarming the narrative that "minorities are better off voting democrat" is just political expediency. And that is FReepin' sad, indeed. But it has come to this. The neo-communists have overrun the leadership of the Democrat party and are poised to get utter control of this country, like California. And the GOPe is sitting there sucking it's thumb.

I really enjoyed this tape. She was a breath of fresh air.
