Reports coming in from Canada of shooting at the Library of Parliament. One shooter reported captured. Unconfirmed reports of one dead. Police looking for more shooters, but not sure if more.
Algerian extraction? French and Algerian? Guess we’ll find out.
Hey I just had an idea. Let’s withdraw 50% of existing border patrol and hand out more visas from muslim countries.
Good. :)
One of my favorite views.
I’m partial to the view from the back. Take a boat tour of the Ottawa River and you’ll see what I mean.
Zehaf is an Algerian or Moroccan name.
I was speaking of the view from behind, but I think we miscommunicated still.
Think: Yoga.
btt
Yep you need to be educated lol.... CTV is a private corporation ...CBC is the govt funded national network. All and I do mean ALL US news channels are broadcast in Canada and just about every other US channel also.
You are truly a moron, your whole post is bull. Canada has just lost one of it’s soldiers to a terrorist and is still securing the situation and you are on here bad mouthing them with bull crap. Go the frig back to your motherland Russkie!
Oh and piss off, eh!!
LOL

In response to your reply, I did a quick search. Quite a few cable channels are prohibited for broadcast:
Examples of well-known U.S. channels not permitted in Canada include FX, Nickelodeon, ESPN, HBO, Showtime, USA Network and TNT (however, Canadian broadcasters have since launched licensed versions of FX, HBO and Nickelodeon, while TSN is minority-owned by ESPN); nonetheless some Canadians choose to subscribe to these channels via the grey market, as outlined above.

The government maintains a list of approved programming channels:
Revised list of non-Canadian programming services authorized for distribution as of 20 August 2014
The "grey market" are satellite services usually required to be billed to an American address and are paid for in U.S. dollars. There are also viewers who receive American signals through pirate decryption, according to the Wiki article.
The broadcast networks are all available on basic cable, and those of us near the border can also pick them up over-the-air.
JUST IN: U.S. officials tell CBS News the name of the dead Ottawa shooting suspect is Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, a Canadian born in 1982.

Gunman killed after Canadian soldier Cpl. Nathan Cirillo murdered at Ottawa war memorial:
Authorities were hunting for other possible shooters when one gunman identified by CBS News as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau was killed Wednesday after he killed Cpl. Nathan Cirillo at Parliament’s Centre Block building.
I have been educated. See my reply at #574.
Cable news channels are o.k.; mainstream media channels are not (ABC/NBC/CBS/Fox) though those channels may be available from cities adjacent to the border (Buffalo, Detroit, Seattle).
Algerian Muslim Michael Zehaf-Bibeau behind Ottawa attack.
The name was given to the Canadian media not by Canadian authorities but by US authorities!! Apparently Algerian. No pictures yet of this perp.
Hero. R.I.P.
