Terrorist group Isis may be considering using Ebola as a suicide bio-weapon against the West, according to a military expert.
The virus is transmitted by direct contact with an infected person who is showing the symptoms and it wouldn't be difficult for fanatics to contract it then travel to countries they want to wreak havoc in, according to a military expert.
Capt. Al Shimkus, Ret., a Professor of National Security Affairs at the U.S. Naval War College, said that the strategy is entirely plausible.
He told Forbes: 'The individual exposed to the Ebola Virus would be the carrier. In the context of terrorist activity, it doesn't take much sophistication to go to that next step to use a human being as a carrier.'
And Professor Anthony Glees, Director at Buckingham University's Centre for Security and Intelligence Studies, agrees that the strategy might be considered.
He said: 'In some ways its a plausible theory IS fighters believe in suicide and this is a potential job for a suicide mission. They are sufficiently murderous and well-informed to consider it, and they know that weve been remiss in the UK.'

Yes.
Yes. They could do that. I am sure it is at least under consideration by the Mohammedans.
Great idea, thanks for telling the terrorists about it.
its a cheaper than any WMD. Infect a moron here who was brainwashed and send him/her to a casino or a bar....have that person vomit all over the place. There you have it.
If you had a container of blood from an Ebola victim, how long would the virus survive before the blood could be sprayed over a crowd?
I believe that this outbreak is exactly that. A prepared assault.
... Nah.... all the President has to do is pass a law saying it is illegal to become an Ebola Terrorist and the world will be safe and peaceful again.
You can bet your bippy it is in the plans!
“Could terrorists turn themselves into Ebola suicide ‘bombs’? “
You mean they HAVEN’T?

Yes, it will all be my fault. Nobody will look at the original article at the Daily Mail.
“The Daily Mail has overtaken the New York Times to become the world’s most visited newspaper website, according to online tracking service Comscore.”

I would imagine a carrier wearing a boom vest would splatter in many directions, covering a crowd with slime.

Yes! Of course!
What we need is Mothers Against Ebola groups and tougher Ebola control laws!
Make Ebola Free Zones and Ebola will not dare to enter since it’s illegal to be there.
I suppose it could happen but I’m thinking not likely. The logisitics and timing involved to pull it off don’t make it an optimal choice. Plus “they” would be taking a risk of wiping out their entire team.
I’m sure that they would have never thought of it on their own. /sarc
Could they? Would they? Have they? Yes.
Interesting Idea...
Perhaps we should drop Ebola cadavers into the heart of the IS?
Might be more effective than shooting $1,000,000 missiles at Toyota pickups?

They didn’t think of flush toilets or cars on their own.
Get someone infected, have them travel to the US, keep them in isolation till they die. Get a half dozen or so fanatics to volunteer to spread the germs. Tell them you will vaccinate them so that they will be protected but only administer saline.
Then use the several “transmitters” to intentionally leave traces of body fluids on door knobs in bathrooms, theater exit doors, subway turn styles, ATM key pads, use the local prostitutes, etc, focusing on the top cities by population.
In a week, you would have the first wave of thousands. By the second week, you would have tens of thousands and your transmitters would likely be hospitalized. By the time the first wave of transmitters dies, hundreds of thousands would be infected.
