The federal government is not considering a travel ban to the United States from Africa, thanks to a sophisticated multi layer screening system" at airports in Africa, according to the White House.
If we can screen through the transportation system to ensure that individuals that are exhibiting symptoms don't have access to a transportation system, then you can keep the transportation system secure, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained to reporters aboard Air Force One.
A travel ban would make it more difficult for professionals to reach Africa to help end the Ebola epidemic, he explained.

I call huge BS on this statement: “A travel ban would make it more difficult for professionals to reach Africa to help end the Ebola epidemic, he explained.”
Like no one EVER allowed an exception for a health professional’s travel to a country that we’d banned travel from. This jerk just thinks we believe ever piece of garbage that falls out of his mouth.
No!
Oh, it's OK, Karl Rove's told them not to worry, no need to get their hands dirty; this is a winning issue for them in November, just sit back and let the whole thing blow up in the Democrat's faces.
Oh, and their checks cleared.
Marxists love to spread the misery around.
Obama and his accomplices have an infectious disease(S).
Open Borders Barry Obola says we can all die for all he cares!
What I want to know is where the GOP is? Hello, why is Obama allowed to do this?
Hello? Anyone out there who still gives a shit?
Pardon my french.
“In the meantime, the GOP-controlled House does...?”
Just what the *ell do you expect them to do, pass another bill for Hairy Reid to toss in a desk drawer?
Without the Senate they can’t even get a bill to O’bastard’s desk!
Maybe if the congress critters start puking on capitol hill, they would pay attention! Sick, isn’t it?
At that level, please stay there. Even now it is past time to leave --
Barack Hussein Obola’s boneheaded decision not to restrict travel should be called out by every Republican in Congress.
2 things have amazed me this week:
1) We are not 'allowed' to ask a flight passenger if he or she is from a hot zone, such as Liberia
....but....
our IRS is completely 'allowed' to screen for words like: Patriot, Tea Party, Liberty and Constitution in applications for tax exempt status.
And
2) President is out there making speeches in front of ILLEGAL ALIEN GROUPS and supporting ILLEGAL immigration -- NOT EVEN TRYING to garner support - and votes - of LEGAL American citizens and legal immigrants. They are shunned. Like they're "the Enemy"!!!!
....Whose side is the Administration on????
Is it on America's side?
Or do they actively represent the "the rest of the world," illegal migrants, foreign nationals, and people who have diseases from corrupt nations who are threats to a free society - ours?
Do we have any rights? Are our lives and institutions worth "protecting" to this Administration?
The answer seems to be NO.
We already know — how about the Child Invasion from the south, anybody in Congress giving a damn about that?
By not banning the travel, he effectively insures the entire US transportation fleet will become immobilized within about 3-12 months. More and more carriers will become infected, while all the infrastructure to disinfect the planes become quarantined, hence no more commercial travel available.
Until the parasites overwhelm the host, anyway.
TO and FROM are obscure concepts for the some among the LIV to grasp ....
Maybe someone has a lot of round trip FF miles ;?
They have a lot of infectious diseases, don’t forget the illegals from south of the border spreading them this very minute.
It’s not boneheaded when it’s deliberate. He just tweeted about his spiteful glee regarding Americans’ opposition to CommieCare. He went back and changed it from Americans to something else, I forget what. I suppose someone told him that his ‘rats are trying to get re-elected and that it wouldn’t be helpful to show his hand (his hatred of Americans) so openly, not just yet.
