It is also the perfect encapsulation of everything that’s wrong with this show.
Since its first episode, “Homeland,” which returns Sunday, has churned out Islamophobic stereotypes as if its writers were getting paid by the cliché. Yet the show, created by “24” veterans Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa and former Israeli paratrooper Gideon Raff, continues to rack up awards, critical praise and millions of viewers.

The entire structure of “Homeland” is built on mashing together every manifestation of political Islam, Arabs, Muslims and the whole Middle East into a Frankenstein-monster global terrorist threat that simply doesn’t exist.The writer is either a frothing ignoramus or a frothing liar.
And my wife and I will be watching the show. We saw the first three seasons, and we like the show a lot.
Yeah, let’s completely ignore the fact Pakistan created the Taliban, hid bin Laden, and revere nuclear proliferator A. Q. Khan. Nothing to see here, at all........
I bailed on Homeland halfway into the 2nd season.
It was too soft on muslims and was taking a blame America for terror path that annoyed me. Did not like any of the characters and wished they were all offed.
We LOVE “Homeland.” Love it! We’re a whole season behind since we’re watching it on Netflix instead of shelling out bucks for HBO . . . but it’s great.
Is it bigoted and biased? Guess the truth hurts.

What does America do to prevent terrorism? We allow the zombies to build their mosques wherever they want. We make special laws just for them so they won’t be harassed the way you and I are at the airport. On and on it goes. Oh, but 9/11 wasn’t our fault.
She is a babe but I think she is now off the program.
