[ Boots on the ground in Benghazi to process the illegal, undeclared war against Ghadaffi, who was at the time one of our best providers of intelligence regarding Islamist terrorists and who correctly warned us that Obama was siding with people aligned with Al Qaeda? ]

Assad is not a nice guy, but he is the “right guy” to have in power in syria at the moment, When dealing with savages you have to have a savage leader in place to keep them in line.

I really could care less what they SAY they are going to do in the future. I only want to know what actually happened that night.
What kind of pathetic intel did we have, that couldn’t tell these people were aligned with Al Qaeda?
Maybe I’m just ignorant and my ignorance makes me angry, but it seems to me that a person gets more scrutiny for simply trying to buy a package of Sudafed than it takes to get military-grade weapons and supporting airstrikes from this regime, OR to be given the keys to the White House.
Seems to me that a little kid’s lemonade stand gets more scrutiny than the redistribution of guns to cartels that are invading our border and manpads to terrorists who have sworn to drown us in our own blood.
My son asked me this morning if I had ever thought of doing something on the computer that’s totally unrelated to evil things. I said somebody has to fight evil. Trouble is, I don’t know if simply knowing about it and talking about it really accomplishes anything either. How did we ever get to this crazy, upside-down world that I just described?
RitaOK, at one of the first postings on this thread was a link provided to an internet site to watch. I have been watching it through my computer.

And that’s it for now. Today was just the beginning of setting the table going forward. The Committee is in recess now for the next 6+ weeks.
Cummings keeps trying to change the dialogue to “what we have learned” and what the recommendations are to “assure this won’t happen again”. Then he can get people to watch the shiny red ball, while burying what happened and who is accountable.
Reading through this thread, and I admit I'm very late to the thread, apparently some FReepers think this is going to be one long, continuous fireworks display. Sorry to burst your bubbles but that isn't how Trey works. He is very meticulous. Most of the time the hearings will seem boring. But in the background, Trey will be carefully building his case.
It's like a series of concentric circles. Right now he's concentrating on the outer ring, getting nailed down what are considered Best Practices. Once that is done, he'll work on the next ring. Each ring brings us closer to the conclusion and, I hope, the indictment of some high level people including Killery the main prize. But that likely won't happen any time soon.
Trey is very deliberate. I suspect the LIVs are already uninterested, if they were at all.

Indeed, We would have gained more working with Ghadaffi and taking him out ON OUR TERMS rather than let some group of islamist screwballs take him out... Same with Egypt, Same with Syria....
Isn’t it interesting that the only Uprising in recent history that OBAMA DID NOT SUPPORT IN ANY DAMNED WAY was the pro freedom movement AGAINST the MULLAHS in IRAN called the “Green Movement”....

He has to uncover Maxwell’s witnessing of Cheryl Mills’ destroying evidence that could hook thighness. This makes the whole ARB recommendations null and void as they were not based on all the facts, just the ‘clean’ ones Mills let them see.
Surrpised Mills’ head wasn’t hitting the desk, she probably needed a tablespoon of Zanax to get through the hearing after this revelation.

FOX has been a flop all around, offering token peekaboo, but back to regular programming covering Obama’s speech somewhere. ( Perfectly timed to interfere with the Benghazi committee.) And FOX dutifully covered Obama. Yuk.
Why the heck is Linda Sanchez on this committee? I don’t remember her being mentioned.
Yes, it seemed to me at the time that he didn’t support the Iranians who protested in support of freedom because Iran was already under sharia - which (worldwide sharia) is part of the “Muslim agenda” that the Egyptian ambassador in 2010 said Obama had privately said he would get actively involved in pushing once he got Obamacare passed. Since they were already sharia as Obama had promised the Muslim world he would work toward, Iran didn’t need any “fixing”, in Obama’s eyes. It was just the Mideast regimes that had been fighting Islamist terrorists that he had to take out. That’s why our own regime agitated for “Arab Spring”. And IIRC those who were pushing that stated outright that there would also be an “American Spring” eventually...
