Turns out it wasn't broken, just bruised so bad they thought it was broken, looking at the x-ray.

Seriously, there is a website called “walking to freedom”,
where people can get on and extol the virtues of their
state, county, city, etc.
Did the hospital release the records? Doubtful.
My first thought as well. This is the first I’ve seen of anyone on TV news actually recognizing the fact that Wilson was roughed up. (Which may or may not mean it is the first, since I only watch TV news if linked to it.)
If I were Wilson’s lawyer, at this point I would be doing everything I legally could to confuse the media version of what actually happened. If the media version is unified — everyone saying Brown was gunned down like a dog, for instance — the witnesses whose testimony is contrary to that version but fits with the evidence are likely to be telling the truth. So there is a sense where the potential defense lawyer doesn’t care what they’re saying, so long as it’s eight miles from reality.
Once the media version starts getting close to the truth, that’s when I as a lawyer would start to get worried about my witnesses being accused of just picking up and passing on a version of things someone else made up. What a lawyer can do about that, I dunno.
if the 300 pound man rushing at you is a member of a recognized grievance group, you are supposed to think in a split second that your life is destroyed if you defend yourself. In other words, you don’t shoot and take other actions to defend yourself, because of fears of being charged with racism as you make a split second decision as to whether to save yourself or not.

The general rule is, if release of information supports a liberal cause or the liberal talking points, or a liberal meme about an incident, then the information can be released and the laws regulating medical information be damned.
The related rule is that conservatives are bound by the laws, but not liberals.
I wish I could say this was just sarcasm on my part.
You know, that is a great idea. Laws have very stiff penalties for disclosing protected health information. The cop should sue the living daylights out of CNN and that hosebag reporter.
