Dorian Johnson, the primary witness to the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, has an outstanding warrant for a 2011 theft in Jefferson City and pleaded guilty for filing a false police report related to that theft.
St. Louis ABC affiliate ABC 17 cross referenced Johnson’s name against several records and discovered the warrant.
Johnson will be the star witness for any potential prosecution proceedings against Officer Darren Wilson for the shooting of Brown. Johnson was walking with Brown when the shooting occurred.
He has already done multiple media appearances where he falsely claimed Brown was shot by Wilson in the back. He also has claimed that Brown never reached for Wilson’s gun, was “shot like an animal” and that Brown had his hands up and told Wilson he was unarmed.
Johnson’s claims helped inspire the protests and riots in Ferguson over the past 10 days, as well as the “Hands up, don’t shoot” rallying cry of the protesters and their supporters.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has details about the 2011 charges against Johnson:
During the summer after his first semester at Lincoln, Johnson was charged with a misdemeanor after giving police a false first name after he was arrested on suspicion of theft. He later pleaded guilty.
He was accused of stealing a package containing a backpack belonging to someone else from an apartment complex. When he was arrested in that case, he identified himself as Derrick Johnson and said he was 16.
He is wanted for failing to appear in Jefferson City municipal court to answer to the theft charge, court officials said.
According to the Post-Dispatch, the president of the local chapter of the NAACP knew about the charges against Johnson, but the fact that he was guilty of lying to the police didn’t matter:
Adolphus Pruitt, president of the St. Louis NAACP chapter, which has been encouraging witnesses to come forward, said Johnson’s false report case “doesn’t concern me.”
“He’s been very clear about what occurred, and now we have … four others stating facts that support the statements he’s been making,” Pruitt said. “Why would that diminish other accounts that are relatively the same?”
Whether or not Johnson committed the crime, lied to police, or is proven false on his account of how Brown was shot by Wilson, finding out what actually happened in the Ferguson shooting will require more evidence and multiple eye-witness accounts. It is important for neither the mainstream media nor armchair pundits to act like they definitively know what happened in this tragic event.

People don’t want the truth - they can’t handle the truth. They want a specific outcome.

From everything I have seen and read recently about Baden, I would have to classify him as a fraudster. I especially liked it when he said (despite the fact that all the entry wounds were from the front) that somehow Brown might have been shot running away.

I thought that I read here, that the autopsy was performed the day before Baden got there???????? Timeline anyone???????
The question is whether Baden actually performed the autopsy or simply analyzed results.
The 1st required autopsy was done right away by the county ME etc ...
and then the body was released to the family ...
and it was taken to the funeral home
where the blood was removed and embalming fluid applied for burial..
Meanwhile the family asked either then or earlier for a 2nd autopsy and paid for their own done by Dr Michael Baden who went to the funeral home to do it..
When Baden talked later he admitted that the body already had been embalmed ready for burial when he saw it..
and then after Baden was finished Holder had his FBI man do a 3rd autopsy..
Just more smearing of a brutha ...

“1) Wed Aug 13 – Professor Parcells was contacted by attorney’ Benjamin Crump and Gray (allegedly just to assist Baden). Parcells was on MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell last night and stated he was contacted by attorneys Crump and Gray on Wednesday 8/13.
2) Fri Aug 15 – Daryl Parks gave a press conference sharing his disgust the Ferguson Police had release the strong arm robbery footage. During the presser he told the media that their 2nd independent autopsy had already been performed (citation link)
Knowing they were going to bring in Dr. Baden, that’s why when questioned about the second autopsy Parks said:
…”it’s done, and we’ll talk about that later, we’re not answering any questions about the 2nd autopsy at this time; we will -in time- do that”….
3) Sun Aug 17 – According to the NYT Dr. Baden was flown in.
If Parcells was just supposed to be assisting Baden, why was Parks stating that the autopsy had already been performed two days before Baden was even flown in?
The actual truth appears to be – a rather controversial person Shawn Parcells, who is NOT a forensic pathologist, was used by the Scheme Team to conduct an autopsy – and then Professor Baden was brought in AFTER to meet with Parcells and give his OPINION of it.
In essence lend his credibility toward it.
Shawn Parcells is not a pathologist, he is a voice for hire. “
If Baden wanted to examine the results from the blood tests, liver and other organs etc he would have had to use the info that the county ME got from the 1st autopsy..
plus any photos that were taken...they take photos of the bullets before they remove them etc..
also apparently another guy Parcell did the actual autopsy, Baden just used his findings..
Baden just analyzed all the info..

Just as I thought, the scheme team brought in a Beni Hana chef for the second autopsy.
Has he been charged with any robberies lately? Like a couple weeks ago?
