Michael Brown was shot in the head and chest multiple times, according to Mary Case, the St. Louis County medical examiner.
While Case declined to comment further, citing the ongoing investigation into Browns death, another person familiar with the countys investigation told The Washington Post that Brown had between six and eight gunshot wounds and was shot from the front.
In addition, Brown had marijuana in his system when he was shot and killed by a police officer on Aug. 9 in Ferguson, according to this person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation.
The report from Cases office was released to the St. Louis County prosecutors office on Friday night but has not been made public. This report is part of the countys official investigation into the shooting, but it is one of three autopsies being conducted.
Browns family and attorneys also requested its own autopsy, which was carried out by Michael Baden, a medical examiner who released preliminary details from his review on Monday.
In anticipation that Brown would be potentially vilified by the results of the drug test, conduct as a routine part of the autopsy, protesters have consistently insisted that Officer Wilson should be required to submit one as well.
What was in the system of that cop when he was pumping bullets into that boys body? asked a protest leader, shouting into a megaphone, during a rally on Friday afternoon.
Residents and protesters have noted that allegations of marijuana use have been used in the past by some in an attempt to disparage the character of shooting victims, including in the Trayvon Martin case.

The officer was obviously trying to just wound him, since a shot in the arm is NOT fatal..Brown kept on coming towards him, the last two shots were the fatal blows(2 to the head) I wonder if both shots made a direct hit on the head or did one just graze his head and the other one make a direct hit
If they were smart, they wouldn’t be doing this sh*t in the first place...
Adrenaline.
That would be the “Laying On of Hands.”
So we shouldn't try. Just protect ourselves and our property.
Would you restock at present?
As a general rule, weed smokers don’t engage in violent behavior. Now toss in some crack, booze, or stimulant of some sort, and Ruh-Roh....
Would you restock at present?
OK so all shots were at the front of his body.
BUT, did his body GO BACK AND TO THE LEFT?
Violent
Criminal
Stoned
Racist
Sexist
Thug
Well, that's the kind of guy who will run afoul of the POlice sooner or later. Maybe Officer Wilson actually saved a few innocent lives somewhere down the road.
Washington COM-Post and the LA Times BOTH coming clean today? Wow.
I honestly can’t believe some of the comments I read around the internet and on TV.
You would thin the cops got decked out in military gear, looked for an innocent man to shoot and executed him .
Hardly a peep about robbing the store, attacking the cop, rioting, looting etc.
since theyre not allowed downtown, theres always the burbs where whitey lives and has stores...

I’ll take a guess here that marijuana is fairly easy to find in the bloodstream and that there may be more to the toxicology tests that may take longer for results. IOW, not a complete toxicology report.
Baden said that toxicology tests are only done on 1st autopsy as there is no more blood in body to test in 2nd & 3rd autopsy.
“A shot in the arm is not fatal”
Google up “brachial artery”. It certainly can be. A friend of mine very nearly bled out from just such a bullet wound. Only heroic efforts of the ER staff saved his life.

This will be a major butt-hurt for the “all cops are jack-booted thugs” and the doper crowd here on FR.
I’m thinking it grazed the skull as he was falling forward.
