Travelodge Removes The Bibles From Its Rooms On Grounds of 'Diversity'. Were Satanists complaining? By Tim Stanley August 16th, 2014
A comforting sight in hotel rooms for 126 years. Until now. If youre staying in a Travelodge and you get a hankering to save your mortal soul, dont bother. The management has decided to pull every single Gideon Bible from bedside tables in their hotels, on the grounds of "diversity" and not wanting to cause offence. Who, pray, might be offended? Cut to a Satanist coming down to reception at 1.30 in the morning, covered in goats blood, slamming a Bible down on the desk and saying, What the Hell is this doing in my room?
Travelodge's decision is irritating on three grounds.

Who can blame them with all going on in the world. All it would take is a group of ISIS people to check in, see the Bible and then cut off the night managers head.
Much better to cower than be subjected to danger.
Why, yessir...they surely are.
And I, as a consuming public, am free to choose where I lay my head and choose the company that provides the place to lay my head.
And from this day forward, it ain't gonna be Travelodge, or any of their subsidiaries.
It's my right.
Period.
Before you write in or boycott, note that this is about British Travelodges.
Just think of the impact if all Christians made them aware of their making it a point to choose another establishment as long as this policy is in place. I don’t know how many letters or emails they have received from atheists but I am positive it would be nothing compared to a concerted effort by Christians. If they made their decision because they feared a loss of revenue then they should be shown a real monetary impact.
Travelodge in the UK is a completely different company with different ownership than Travelodge in the USA!
Would not be fair or sensible to boycott the USA company in response to this, they have no control or relation to what the UK company did.
That may be, but the point is voluntariness. As long as their choice is voluntary and not forced, then it is a free choice.
Here is a form to send— complain folks... hit them in the wallet.

AMEN!!!!
Kinda how a free society works, huh? That’s why people have died to come here: freedom to choose.
Going along to get along with collectivists is not an example of a voluntary action.
I KNOW THAT
Ridiculous...No pork on the menu?? No bacon with breakfast??
Okay, so are they wishing to join Target in declining business?
It is a pretext for offending Christians and kissing Muzzie butt.
The owners are either cowards or they can’t stand Christians and this is a way to kick them while pretending to be noble.
Well that’s just stupid. Plenty of popular music songs play in other stores all the time. Plus, if it caters to a specific religion, what could you expect?
It’s voluntary as long as another is not objectively forcing you or threatening force upon you. Choice from subjective perception and not objective force is voluntary as far as the law (and life) is concerned.
Given the current left-wing socio-political pressures, the likelihood of this being voluntary, and the presence of Bibles beforehand involuntary, is extremely low.
I will repeat.
Travelodge Removes The Bibles From Its Rooms On Grounds of 'Diversity, in preparation for Sharia Law.
