Travelodge Removes The Bibles From Its Rooms On Grounds of 'Diversity'. Were Satanists complaining? By Tim Stanley August 16th, 2014
A comforting sight in hotel rooms for 126 years. Until now. If youre staying in a Travelodge and you get a hankering to save your mortal soul, dont bother. The management has decided to pull every single Gideon Bible from bedside tables in their hotels, on the grounds of "diversity" and not wanting to cause offence. Who, pray, might be offended? Cut to a Satanist coming down to reception at 1.30 in the morning, covered in goats blood, slamming a Bible down on the desk and saying, What the Hell is this doing in my room?
Travelodge's decision is irritating on three grounds.

I’m going to find their email address and advise them that I will never stay at a travelodge again....ever. (I’ve been a regular customer for years.)
Bye-bye Travelodge.
Maybe if enough peace-loving Christians people stay away, maybe they’ll reconsider after all that’s left is diverse criminal patrons.
Yep, Hope your “diverse” population can keep you in business....(not)
And fairness to all. HUH? How’s that fair to the faithful. Weird huh? Oh. Dang. I keep forgettin’ that Diversity Way is a one way street. “They” want me to turn left but I keep going right. Oh well.
Travel-Dodge-—dodge on by. Buh-bye suckas___ we should call their corporate HQ and let them have it. No Bibles, no business.
The % of people who identify themselves as Christian is extremely high, why would they want to alienate that customer base?
Although I don’t like it, Travelodge is free to do want it wants.
The greater threat by far is the humongous $4,000,000,000,000 federal government finding ways to ban the Bible and free religious exercise from “public places”. Their strategy: first, make “public places” belong to the government and second, make everything belong to the government. At that point, mission accomplished.
I’m going to guess one homosexual rabble rouser lodged a complaint.
Could be Muslims. They’ve gotten very aggressive in Chicago lately, demanding that Christian resale shops not play Christian hymns.
How is going along with the agenda of un-freedom an exercise of freedom?
Keep in mind that Travelodge is one of the many(8-10) hotel chains owned by the Wyndam (group, corp.), not sure which one.
If this Bible ban is from Wyndam, and affects all of their chains, then you will have to remember to boycott them all. If this is local, and affects only a few places, then only those places should be boycotted.
No more Travelodge. Pandering to the radical left is obvious.
Exercising your freedom to choose is your heritage as long as you don’t interfere with another’s freedoms. That’s how a free society works. It can’t always be what we agree with. Otherwise you’ll be bound by what others don’t agree with. That’s how a collectivist society operates.
Is Travel Lodge gonna start offering gay porn on the tele? You know, in the name of “diversity”?
Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
I am becoming more and more convinced that we are seeing the “falling away” that the the Holy Spirit by the hand of the Apostle Paul is talking about here.
I never understand this not wanting to offend nonsense?
You offend millions of people so as not to offend millions of people.
Just stupid...
TraveLodge is doing the latter, not the former.
