Its the terminus point of modern feminism: make the deeply personal very publicly political, and get someone else to pay for it! If one man is keeping you in the style to which youre accustomed, youre a kept woman perhaps even [shudder] a stay-at-home mom. But if your sugar is funneled from thousands of hapless tax payers through a legion of faceless bureaucrats, youre a tower of feminist self-determination. Fight the power, sisters! Demand government tampons!
This is less an issue of costliness than it is of principle, she later admitted, because menstrual care is health care.
To back up her claims, Valenti cited how The United Nations and Human Rights Watch connected feminine hygiene with human rights.
Too late for that one, her brains bled out.
Order the small size
Tie a longer heavy cord to them
Dip the end in hoppe’s #9
Great cleaning patch for 20 to 12 gage
Do not ask how i know this
True, I knew an EMT - he said they kept them on hand in the emergency response vehicle for just that purpose (the little short o.b. ones)
Good to know for any preppers.
They'd be unionized and you'd have to take the most senior one available.
“Free” everything for ALL! Redundantly stupid, as your post suggests.
Well, there you go, add it to the list of problems that Obama is causing with his “war on men” by denying us necessary medical care!
Ladies, if you can’t afford tampons, do remember what your great great grandma would use. Rags.
Believe it or not, for a profusely bleeding broken nose...
We have a running joke in the household. When my wife serves me something especially good, and I thank her for it, she asks, "Are you going to keep me?" I reply, "Yes, you're going to be a kept woman."
I'm one of the luckiest guys in the world to have found here, and I have no intention of giving her up.
I believe that. Good tip as well.
Next time she will wear used kotex to get her point across.
“women are increasingly into washable pads for eco-positive periods”
LOL. My mother grew up during the depression. She was still washing her homemade ones and hanging them on the clothesline in the 1960s. Everything old is new again (but with handcrafted artyness and premium prices).
“Whats next? Free bras? Free panties?”
I don’t think that the current administration wants women wearing panties.
There’s nothing worse than a redundant Christmas tree ornament :)
Yes, all those hygiene products are also needed for health care, as are gym memberships, exercise equipment, a good mattress for quality sleep, etc., etc. The list (as you have pointed out) can go on forever.
Hey, why not? Exercise is important for good health, so gym membership and exercise equipment should be provided for free.
If our welfare system weren't already such a God awful mess rife with abuse, I'd actually agree with this. Men too. I do think toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap are part of good hygiene and a healthy society. And are as integral as food to the underclass. Maybe more so in that it's relatively easy to find free food, but free toothbrushes? Not so much. And it's harder to get a job or be healthy when your teeth are rotting out of your head.
But then again, the nanny state is already way too big. So forget I mentioned it.
Riding motorcycles is essential to maintaining my good mental health...
