They did!
Yeh, we killed him!!
Who gave the "illegal" order to assassinate him?
Good thing Obama has Al Quada on the run!
Tunisia is also in turmoil.

OBAMA AND HIS “ARAB SPRING”, the Kenyan-American grifter’s gift to the Moslem Jihad’s world.
Leading from behind - such a great strategy. Look how it has turned out.
Bush or YouTube’s fault this time?
1: Overthrew the Egyptian government. Muslim Brotherhood took over.
2: Overthrew Libyan government. Al Queda took over.
3: Tried to overthrow Syrian government. ISIS would be in charge now.
4: Overthrew Ukraine's government. Still a mess.
5: Tried to overthrow Iraq's government. ISIS would probably take over.
Did I miss any? And they called Bush a War Monger.
Did anyone else hear or read about when the Pentagon wanted this done?
The US embassy in Libya has shut down and all diplomatic staff have been evacuated to neighboring Tunisia by military escort because of ongoing clashes and violence between rival militias sweeping the country.
Some 150 personnel were moved across the border due to the ongoing violence, State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf tweeted.
We had to take this step because the location of our embassy is in very close proximity to intense fighting...between armed Libyan factions, she added.
A new Libya travel warning was issued by the US State Department on Saturday, advising against all travel and recommending that US citizens depart immediately.
The security situation in Libya remains unpredictable and unstable. The Libyan government has not been able to adequately build its military and police forces and improve security following the 2011 revolution, the travel warning explained.
The move comes as the Obama administration continues to express wariness over the safety of US staff abroad, and Libya has been of particular concern since a deadly 2012 attack in Benghazi, during which four diplomatic personnel died, including the then US ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
New clashes broke out at Tripoli airport on Friday between rival Libyan militant groups attempting to seize control of it. Loud explosions rang through its grounds following 13 continuous days of shelling which have severed air links between the city and the outside world.
Many military-grade weapons remain in the hands of private individuals, including antiaircraft weapons that may be used against civilian aviation, emphasized the travel warning.

There is the usual level of Muslim on Muslim violence taking place throughout the Muslim world. But then, either through our direct involvement or through relinquishing our influence, wherever Muslim strongman dictators are removed, the countries devolve into either sectarian or tribal conflicts.
This seems to happen even in relatively stable places like Egypt.
it seems that there can be no other conclusion, that these sects, tribes, nations are incapable of peaceful existence sans a strong man. Even then peace only seems to be kept through a dominant violence and ruthlessness.
We either need to provide moral guidance backed with a military threat or stay out of these places. I vote for the second.
Geez....think they might ought to have done something similar to this before 9/11/2012?

CNN can do good international reporting if they leave out their political views. I’m sure they’ll be blaming Bush before long.
Is there a government currently?
US State Department Travel Warning - July 26, 2014
http://libya.usembassy.gov/tw_072614.html
The Department of State warns U.S. citizens against all travel to Libya and recommends that U.S. citizens currently in Libya depart immediately. On July 26, the U.S. Embassy suspended all embassy operations in Libya and relocated staff, due to ongoing violence between Libyan militias in the immediate vicinity of the Embassy.
The security situation in Libya remains unpredictable and unstable. The Libyan government has not been able to adequately build its military and police forces and improve security following the 2011 revolution. Many military-grade weapons remain in the hands of private individuals, including antiaircraft weapons that may be used against civilian aviation. Crime levels remain high in many parts of the country. In addition to the threat of crime, various groups have called for attacks against U.S. citizens and U.S. interests in Libya. Extremist groups in Libya have made several specific threats this year against U.S. government officials, citizens, and interests in Libya. Because of the presumption that foreigners, especially U.S. citizens, in Libya may be associated with the U.S. government or U.S. NGOs, travelers should be aware that they may be targeted for kidnapping, violent attacks, or death. U.S. citizens currently in Libya should exercise extreme caution and depart immediately.
Sporadic episodes of civil unrest have occurred throughout the country and attacks by armed groups can occur in many different areas; hotels frequented by westerners have been caught in the crossfire. Armed clashes have occurred in the areas near Tripoli International Airport, Airport Road, and Swani Road. Checkpoints controlled by militias are common outside of Tripoli, and at times inside the capital. Closures or threats of closures of international airports occur regularly, whether for maintenance, labor, or security-related incidents. Along with airports, seaports and roads can close with little or no warning. U.S. citizens should closely monitor news and check with airlines to try to travel out of Libya as quickly and safely as possible.
In Tripoli, armed groups have contested territory near Tripoli International Airport since July 13, rendering the airport non-operational. State security institutions lack basic capabilities to prevent conflict, and there remains a possibility of further escalation.
There are no plans for charter flights or other U.S. government-sponsored evacuations. U.S. citizens seeking to depart Libya are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. Land port closures occur frequently.
Now does ISIS step in and set up housekeeping?
Have they found a video to blame it on, yet?

The good news, you can still fly to Tripoli from the US
And America’s “boy-king” tries to feign he has everything under control.
