“He was a young child that made a bad decision that cost him his life, But he was only 16. I’m pretty sure we’ve all done something that could cost us our lives at the age of 16.

I remember being 16 running around committing all those violent armed robberies. What fun! Oh, to be young again!

Talbott says her son simply fell in with the wrong crowd.

No, mamma. You're son was the wrong crowd.

The second suspect who was with Haggins Jr. fled and is still on the loose.

Naturally, nobody's snitchin'.

Sigh... Another "child" victim of gun violence.

What hit me was two different names — broken home or no father?

Haggins Jr
Talbott — mother

Who was the corrupt DA (or whomever) that declared this death a “homicide”, I’d like to know?

I don’t think it’s inconsistent to feel sympathy for the robber’s family, sorrow for the wasted life, and approval for the store owner’s legitimate, self defense actions. I don’t see the family justifying the robber’s actions so much as grieving over the loss. Sure. They think he was a good kid who simply fell into the wrong crowd. They don’t know, but he might have even been the instigator/leader. What they claim about not knowing and/or being responsible for everything teenagers choose to do once they leave home strikes me as being realistic, too.

I did a lot of stuff as a teen that could've gotten me killed.

But I managed to avoid doing anything that might get me shot by someone acting in self defense.

“Do not let this just fly away as if it was just a murder that may have been justified. My son was shot four times. A 16-year-old kid was shot four times.”

***

That 16-year-old kid was committing a crime. When you're committing a crime, odds are you are going to be killed or injured. I'd say this “child” wasn't taught that fact by his parents.

By the way, where is the father?

Police said Haggins, along with another suspect, walked into the store armed with guns in a reported robbery attempt.

Since Haggins’ death was declared a homicide

How do these two go together? Shot during an armed robbery? Looks like justice.

He was just a child trying to be a teenage,” said Haggins’ mother Candace Talbott.

Nothing more heart rending than a mother grieving for a wayward child.

I wonder what Isaiah Haggin, Sr. had to say.

Probably too distraught to speak to the media.

I don't blame him.

Another of Obama’s pretend sons. No doubt, he was on the verge of turning his life around.

I want to know what is up with the category of “homicide”?

Is that still valid? Did they change it?

And what is with Catholics lately getting so liberal that nuns are publicly out there supporting a thug?

another suspect remains on the loose following the attempted robbery at the urban clothing store.

When they catch this guy and charge him with murder we will get to hear how he too fell in with the wrong crowd.

Where was the Baby Daddy in this kid’s life, Momma Genius?

You obviously did a great job alone raising a typical 16 year old.

“Since Haggins’ death was declared a homicide,...”

Homocide by whom? The store owner who was defending himself and his store? Is he going to be charged?

“He was a young child that made a bad decision that cost him his life,”

Yep. So was Charles Starkweather & Carol Fugate. The world would have been better off if someone had put four bullets in each of them early on. Then like Isiah Haggins Jr, no innocents would have been killed.

I see it everyday in many different social and ethnic groups. The children are free to roam as they please. I suppose these parents think that Hillary’s ‘village’ will take care of their discipline and training. It a sickening.

Take them with you. They need your good input. Make them help mow the lawn, fix the car, take them fishing and hunting. Teach them how to throw a ball. Know where they go and who they go with.

Taking a look at this "child", all I can say is..."Good shootin'!"

It would only have been a matter of time before this "child" committed another act of crime and possibly killed an innocent person. HE was NOT innocent.

I have never seen any group perfect the art of making excuses for bad behavior anywhere near the skill level of blacks. Nothing they do is bad or their fault...always that of others.
