“He was a young child that made a bad decision that cost him his life, But he was only 16. I’m pretty sure we’ve all done something that could cost us our lives at the age of 16.

I remember being 16 running around committing all those violent armed robberies. What fun! Oh, to be young again!

Talbott says her son simply fell in with the wrong crowd.

No, mamma. You're son was the wrong crowd.

The second suspect who was with Haggins Jr. fled and is still on the loose.

Naturally, nobody's snitchin'.

Sigh... Another "child" victim of gun violence.

“Do not let this just fly away as if it was just a murder that may have been justified. My son was shot four times. A 16-year-old kid was shot four times.”

Sometimes that is how many it takes.

I’m pretty sure we’ve all done something that could cost us our lives at the age of 16.

Armed robbery is not one of them.

” He was just a child trying to be a teenage,” said Haggins’ mother Candace Talbott. ‘

This really made me laugh. She must be an idiot.

What a tragedy.

He WASN’T turning his life around!
He WASN’T an aspiring rap star!

What’s wrong with kids these days?

This in a nutshell, which is where it belongs, is the Blackamoor mentality summed up. It's not our fault if there are bad consequences to our actions. Thugging don't mean nothing. Just YMB’s (young black men) being boys. The entire culture of non-responsibility is summed up in these stupid banalities.

No doubt about it but somehow I managed to avoid armed robbery.

Not really. Crossing the street? Riding public buses? Going to public school. All dangerous....

I thought a 16 year old criminal was shot dead?

It is truly a shame to lose a 16 year old this way. In a perfect world he would have had good role models and strived to be more than a successful armed robber. And I’m not being facetious.

Well, maybe if you include riding my bike against traffic. But at 16, I was trying to earn an extra buck, and started to buy my own anti-perspirant. (I picked BAN roll-on, unscented).

So what was Ms. Talbott’s act of “trying to be a teenage (sic)”? Having an illegitimate child and raising him in a fatherless household?

No, not everyone is so evil by their teens as to have “done something that could cost us our lives at the age of 16”, especially running around in a gang and robbing stores, sorry.

“I’m pretty sure we’ve all done something that could cost us our lives at the age of 16.”

Yeah! In my Mom’s ‘63 Riviera, that had every engine option my Dad could buy! I shouldn’t have been allowed to drive that car! But my Dad figured the bucket seats would put a damp on serious sexual activity. Wrong!

I was reserving judgement until I saw the pic and I'm glad I did. Damned if the kid didn't turn out not to be Scandanavian descent like I suspected.

Poor guy. Cut down in the prime of his life while innocently robbing a store.

Just think of all the children he will never father with several women he will never marry. All the drugs he'll remove from the streets by smoking them or inhaling them up his nose. He'll never know the satisfaction that comes with climbing the corporate ladder as a career criminal.

What a waste.

I will give credit for one thing, as a Junior, the father was willing to take credit (or blame) for how things turned out.
