Glenn Beck said bringing soccer balls, teddy bears, and hot meals to illegal immigrants who have been detained along the U.S.-Mexico border will be the most right thing he has ever done.
On July 19, Beck will travel to McAllen, Texas, because he believes Americans must "open our hearts" to the illegal immigrant children who have been unlawfully entering the country.
"I’ve never taken a position more deadly to my career than this – and I have never, ever taken a position that is more right than this," Beck claimed, according to The Blaze.
Beck said helping illegal immigrant children, most of whom have fled Central American nations, was more "right" to him than even calling out radical Islam.
“We’re going to fill some tractor-trailers with food, with water,” Beck said. “The churches have asked us if we could bring teddy bears and soccer balls, so we’ve loaded up a whole tractor-trailer of nothing but teddy bears and soccer balls. And then I’m going to go serve breakfast and lunch, and I’m going to help unload these trucks, hot meals for 3,000. That’s what we’re doing.”
Some illegal immigrants have been found to have contagious diseases and dangerous gang affiliations, but Beck also emphasized that the United States should be accessible to "all those fleeing poverty and violence."

Sounds like he is off his meds. His approach would applaud all “children” of the world to come to the US followed by total collapse. Somalia would look civilized by comparison.
A opportunist who is prone to histrionics and grandstanding that, while much ballyhooed in its promises, most often fails to deliver.
Let’s see (from the things I remember hearing him infrequently in the last two or three years):
1) Buy gold (at record high prices, at that)
2) He did something miraculous in his Israel trip - what was it?
3) Now, we MUST open our hearts to these poooooor children who are invading our country.
Frankly, this man is insane. I think his brain got pickled from all the booze.

On the rare occasion it occurs I love to disagree with Beck. As much as it pains me, I agree with him here. The Pied Piper of 1600 has “out-Pivened” us. One of the last nails in America’s coffin is being driven and it really is too late to do much but going down abusing children will be a hard sell at the Pearly Gates...
This is amusing because unless he intends to make a lifetime commitment to these “children” this is nothing more than a publicity stunt. They will need breakfast and lunch for years to come, not just this one photo op. Oh and there are some 20 million more children world wide that are just as deserving. Hope you have a big checkbook.

I stopped listening to Beck yrs ago...he’s lost and completely inside himself...someone got to him and made a deal...he’s serving a purpose for someone else and it’s not the U.S.
His fame has clouded his brain!
We should open our hearts to them - as we reunite them with their families in their home countries. Being able to recite some rubbish about being in danger at home is proof that their lawyers coached them well, not that they are genuine refugees. All (okay, maybe 98%, which is an improvement even if we can’t catch them all) illegals should be stopped at the border and shipped back to their homes, and we should fix the legal system so those we want coming here can come without having to compete with criminals.
By all means, open up your hearts.
Feed them, shower them, and then open up the bus doors and take them back to where they belong.
If America is not any more exceptional than any other nation, why would they make their way here? Take them back to their own equally exceptional countries.
...but Beck also emphasized that the United States should be accessible to "all those fleeing poverty and violence."Um, Glenn. Nearly every country in the world (that doesn't reside in North America or Europe) is full of poverty and violence.
Do you advocate absorbing them ALL?
