BREAKING: Desperate Dems Fear “All-But-Certain” Impeachment if GOP Takes Senate
Conservative Tribune ^ | June 27 2014 | Conservative Tribune

Years ago, impeaching President Obama would’ve seemed like an impossibility, but with scandals and corruption leaking out of every nook and cranny of the White House, the likelihood of accomplishing such a Herculean feat has dramatically increased.

Hot off the heels of a disastrous negotiation with terrorists, an Iraqi crisis, and several congressional investigations into the VA scandal, IRS targeting, and Benghazi cover up, the movement calling for Obama’s impeachment has gone mainstream.

House Republicans claim the votes are there to move forward on impeachment, and to further prove the seriousness of all the fervor, Speaker Boehner is set to file a lawsuit against the president.

All of this has liberal Democrats very, very nervous.

A recent email blast sent out by the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee says that if Republicans win the Senate, impeachment is “all-but-certain.”

Here’s the DLCC email:

Washington Post: “President Obama will be impeached” Add Your Name: Stop the Tea Party impeachment

Just days after Republicans in Congress claimed they “probably” have the votes to impeach President Obama in the House, theWashington Post reports that impeachment is “all-but-certain” if Republicans win this fall’s elections.

The ONLY reason Republicans are pursuing impeachment is because they don’t like that President Obama defeated them in the last election. We CANNOT let this stand.

We need you to speak out now to stop the Tea Party’s impeachment agenda – please add your name today!

A growing list of top Republicans are lining up to support impeachment, and some right-wing legislators are already taking steps to make it a reality.

Tea Partiers in Congress are giving speeches calling impeachment “a dream come true,” and the official Republican Party Convention in South Dakota actually PASSED a resolution demanding that the President be thrown out of office!

This has already gone way too far: Speak out now to STOP the Tea Party impeachment!

Sincerely,

Kevin Boyd Regional Strategist Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee

This is good news. Liberals should absolutely be terrified of the possibility that Obama could be given a pink slip. If he falls, so does their agenda. The removal of the president spells the end of their attempts to “fundamentally transform America,” and buys some time for America to start down the path to recovery.

Americans must continue to bombard their representatives and demand they stay the course and make sure the president is brought to justice.

Please share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you agree that the Democrats have every reason to fear the impeachment of Barack Obama.

That includes after the elections.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

That's funny!

McCockle and Boner have the same exact agenda as Ubama.

They won't do anything.

That’s hilarious. Nice way to admit that impeachable offenses have been committed. That’s why they want the GOP-e in there if they can’t be in themselves.

As a MINIMUM, that is what I would demand, but I would not expect it. McConnell, Graham, McCain et al are traitors.

Tragically, I have to agree with you. Plus, they are deathly afraid of being called “racists.”

The ONLY reason Republicans are pursuing impeachment is because they don’t like that President Obama defeated them in the last election.

Riiight! The fact that Obama violates the Constitution on a daily basis and, with the help of lackey Eric Holder, obstructs justice beyond recognition, has nothing to do with it.

No chance in hell these Pubbies have the spine to impeach The Won, even if they have the 2/3rd’s of the majority in the Senate. This is just another strategy to rile up the Zombie LIV base to get them out to vote in November.

Another desperate, transparent attempt to get the Dem base to turnout for the midterms.

“All but certain”? I’d like to think so, but even if the R’s take seven or eight seats to make it 52-48 or something like that, they still would need more than a dozen Dem senators for the 67 needed for impeachment.

This is just “sky is falling” fundraising rhetoric.

This is just fundraiser and GOTV noise. They know that McConnell would deep six this as fast as Reid.

A. The GOP is not going to take over the Senate.
B. Removal from office requires a 2/3 Senate majority. That will never happen.

And now that I re-read the article carefully, I remember that “impeachment” is not the same as removing him from office. They’re not saying anything at all about that.

And , of course, they’ll blame it on “racism” and send out 10 million fundraising letters.

Impeachment is the House, which you could think of as being like a grand jury, and the actual trial occurrs in the Senate where a conviction might be obtained, as I recall.
