Funny thing is, a healthy city needs responsible, productive, and civil adults in order to work.

An anything-goes attitude is exactly what destroys cities.

"The survey found that, among the consistently conservative, 50% believe it’s important to live in a place where most think the way they do about politics. For consistent liberals, it’s 35%."

Yeah, right. The leftists definition of diversity of political views ranges from socialism to communism.

The number is lower for liberals because they just naturally assume everyone agrees with them; and if they don’t, they should. They announce their views loudly in public, in restaurants, in the line at the post office, wherever. Conservatives tend to bite their tongues, knowing that the gay waitstaff or gubmit dependent P.O. employees, in the examples above, will side with the liberals and try to throw them out or have the police do it. So, as usual, this is a bunk survey.

Conservatives want big houses and yards to offer them some protection from liberal looters. I wouldn't mind living in a big city if it was is Asia such as Singapore, Kobe or the outskirts of Tokyo (I actually lived in these places for 14 years of my life). But no thanks to a large U.S. City.

I don't want looters as neighbors. And all Liberals are looters to one degree or another. Yes, all of them. The type with a high paying government job is actually more dangerous than your typical thieving druggie.

...more conservatives than liberals want to live in a place where most people share their political views...

Because most conservatives prefer not to live in crime-infested squalor.

Actually I believe the opposite is true. I don't think we Conservatives are all that eager to go and get in our neighbors' faces with our political views. Seems a daily driving compulsion for them.

The survey found that, among the consistently conservative, 50% believe it’s important to live in a place where most think the way they do about politics.

That's why we moved to a house with no close neighbors.
No over-the-fence chats.

More Pew bs.

We live in an area that is well over a mile to the nearest store. Everyone drives and often there is a vehicle per driver in the family.

According to the stats. 30% of us in this area are Republicans, 65% are rats, and 5% are supposedly independents. A 3 bedroom house is about average with many larger homes. Homes in this area, often sell in a couple of weeks with several backup offers or bidding wars.

Even in the downtown area with about 90% of the people living there, there is a vehicle for every driver. These people could walk to stores or ride their bikes, but they don’t. They will ride their bikes after work or on the weekends, and not for commuting or shopping trips.

Liberals when polled like to lie about what great enviros they are. Their reality is often very different.

35% for liberals??? I call BS. I work closely with these libtards in Hollywood and they all WANT/NEED to work with their fellow libs. Conservatives and right-wingers not allowed.

When liberals have kids, they have no more than 2. Conservatives have a lot of kids. Kids increase the size of home that you can be comfortable with. Conservatives are also the only ones who try to survive on one income. If you require a larger house, with one income, you have to the Hood or go out to the burbs.

This ‘Conserve’-ative I wants a smaller house and lots more tillable land - AWAY from ALL Libtards. And a machine gun turret/watchtower.

Plan the work, then work the Plan. It will be mine. Oh, yes. It WILL be mine...

But, no one ever surveys ME! :)

That's because conservatives just want to be left alone to live their lives. Liberals love dictating how others live their lives and you can do that anywhere.

Liberals want to live where conservatives pay the taxes on their nicer homes and their children can go to decent schools. They certainly don’t want the chaos of a Liberal-run neighborhood or city full of fellow losers.

Liberals are generally comfortable to live around conservatives for two reasons: first, it gives them something nearby to hate and want to undermine and eventually destroy; and second, because they are destructively parasitic.

The latter is harder to explain. It means that what liberals want, they want others to pay for. They also are never contented with what is, and want to tear it down so they can have what they want. But what they want is crap.

A great example of this was found in wealthy California liberals, whose bed had been so befouled by them and other liberals, that they wanted to flee to a more pristine place.

In this case, rural Utah. Indifferent to what the Utahans thought, California liberals had giant McMansions built for themselves. Yet just a few weeks after moving in, they were bored to tears. Utah doesn’t have the pornographic lifestyle, the wretched excess, the drugs and liquor and all the other vices that the Californians craved.

So for once, the Californians appealed to the Utahans to permit the wholesale introduction of such debauchery to their town. And the Utahans spoke with one voice when they told the Californians “Hell, No!”

So today, there are empty McMansions in rural Utah, slowly decaying at the pace of nature, transitory monuments to liberalism, unmourned.

I’ll tell you exactly why I don’t want anything to do with liberals. I’m middle-aged and no longer have the time to deal with stupidity. On the back nine of my life I can’t afford the waste of what time I have left.

Ummm, liberals like being packed in cities close to each other... Detroit and Chicago come to mind...

Conservatives would rather live with each other than with liberals - and have enough space in between than and their neighbors that they’re not on top of each other...

No surprises here.

“consistently conservative, 50% believe it’s important to live in a place where most think the way they do about politics.”

I say this is true and most conservatives would prefer to live in a conservative area. Liberals will sue when their unpopular ideas are voted down.
