That's why we moved to a house with no close neighbors.
No over-the-fence chats.

My wife and I have lived at our present location for ten years. In that time, not once have we had any neighbors over for a visit, nor have we visited any of their homes. I like that just fine. When my neighbors go by, they wave at me, and I wave at them. I like that type of relationship.

But after ten years of having empty, one acre lots between us and our closest neighbors, somebody bought the property north of us. They appear to have some noisy kids. Our little paradise is now threatened. We will be looking into erecting very high fences.
