Or.. Democratrina.

Far more destructive than any bomb or hurricane, Democrat locusts destroy lay waste to Detroit.

This is the 'progress' they want for the rest of America.

There are some Southern cities that are greater than 30% that have elected Republicans. Chattanooga, TN is about 35% black and has recently had two Republican mayors, though the current one is a Dem. Montgomery, AL, which is 54% black, currently has a Republican mayor. I’m sure there are some examples of smaller cities with similar demographics where this also true. This may be because the white population in these areas, like much of the South, is almost entirely Republican. For example, the white vote in Mississippi and Alabama went 90% and 85% respectively Republican in the 2012 Presidential Election.

It’s not ALL of Detroit. We never hear about bodies being found shot, burned and hacked up in the downtown areas. Now and then a body is pulled out of the water but that’s about it. The big problems are in the outskirts or older neighborhoods of the city and nearby suburbs. If I could afford it, I wouldn’t mind living in one of the upscale hi-rise communities in downtown Detroit. Not forever but maybe a year or two just for bragging rights.

I did see somewhere an expose of the stage-managing behind some of these urban decay safaris. I’ve been to downtown Detroit, and it didn’t seem any more worrisome than my own New York, though I did notice the same thing happens in New York as happened to the roads when entering the area meant to be maintained by Detroit.

Sometimes I think the gangs in Detroit neighborhoods would actually shoot up any improved roads just so they can remain isolated.

I don’t know Detroit that well, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Firemen used to get fired on responding to calls in the South Bronx.

I wonder how much the bank wants for it.

I haven't got a clue. Its got a brand new septic system. It sets right up on the main road next to the dam but its a road that might get 30 cars per hour on an average day. The 2 story part is a new addition less than 10 years old. I think the guy hurt himself with the improvements.
