The controversy over a Nevada ranchers decades-long use of public land without paying federal grazing fees has quickly become a national issue one that Glenn Beck on Monday urged Americans to fully understand before taking a side on.
We did some research online with PsyID today, and found that theres about 10 or 15 percent of the people who are talking about this online that are truly frightening, Beck said on his television program. They dont care what the facts are. They just want a fight.
Beck said there are many decent, small-government proponents from groups like the Tea Party supporting Bundy, and they need to be aware that the controversy has drawn violent, anti-government individuals who are the rights version of Occupy Wall Street, as well....

"I do believe that where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence I would advise violence. Thus when my eldest son asked me what he should have done, had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908, whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defended me, I told him that it was his duty to defend me even by using violence."
Hellfire missiles, the most commonly used weapon that you referenced, cost over $58000 a piece and are in limited supply. There are 330 million people in this country. Do the math.
Eh. I gave up on Beck the moment he started cozying up to homo-marriage. Ever since, it sounds like he’s really fast-tracked his strange and meandering self-journey to flakesville.
It’s harder to chuckle when its cost you serious money. Just sayin ...
I have wondered about Savage for w while.
Except the rancher is also from mormon stock
Beck is in Reid’s pocket
Not a peep on the blm usurping the job of the us Marshall’s.
Not a peep on the over the top violent behavior of the blm agents toward peaceful protestor
Not a peep on the preps by blm agents to get violent last Saturday - until they realized that they were out manned, out gunned and surrounded.
Not a word on the pre-blm promise by the govt to ranchers that they’d be allowed to run cattle on these lands
Not a word about blm favoring turtles being disturbed by energy projects (lining the Reid family pockets - again)
Glenn Beck is an idiot with some kind of hidden agenda. I got over Glenn a few years ago. I love hearing him preach about all the anti govt people.
Of course there is a huge anti government sentiment in this country. It would be unusual if there wasn’t. The whole govt is corrupt from top to bottom. Its OK when Glenn is painting the picture but not when anyone else is.
Shut up Glenn.
As the demonization of Bundy ramps up, I believe that his days are numbered.
Wanna know why Beck will never have Dr Kevin Gutzman on his show?
Because Gutzman knows more about the constitution on his little finger than Beck.
Beck needs MONEY.
I suppose then, the Ranchers in the Red River thing going on in Texas is not to be supported either? Or what is going on in Montana? Or Utah?
They blinked, backed up and started talking about safety of the citizens and using peaceful channels to resolve the controversy.
I think it is all part of their plan.
consider that for several years the government has been militarizing (some say weaponizing) federal agencies.
To what end?
Are they baiting us into a situation where they have to put down a conservative rebellion?
Many of us are itching for an opportunity to put the government in it's place.
It's important that he hold the high ground (constitutionally) when it happens.
It’s not just this story, Beck has discredited himself many times.
Beck had Bundy on the radio...when Beck asked him if this was about right or wrong...Bundy replied it wasn’t...it about being against the govt... Speaks volumes about his motivation...
Wait a second, in the interest of truth, I heard Beck:
Beck said that he believes that the non-violent path (by the way, that’s the path that was taken in this Bundy stand unless someone knows of some shooting I haven’t heard about) is better than an open, leaderless, shooting rebellion.
And.... based on what I just saw with Bundy’s SUCCESS - he’s right.
In the general history of the World, a leaderless, unorganized rebellion always leads to tyranny. And that is what will happen here.
And then he mocked Reid relentlessly for his statements and position; comparing Reid’s hypocritical pro-Amnesty (law breaking) stance to Reid’s statements that law breaking (ie, Bundy) should not be tolerated.
Indeed. I just changed the channel to Chris Plante. He makes me chuckle while getting out info. Love his dry wit.
