Lynn’s diagnosis is small cell cancer of the right lung.
The cancer grew very rapidly and the hope is that it will also shrink quickly and kill many of the cancer cells.
The chemo was postponed until today. The first chemo treatment started at about 4pm. The schedule will be 3 days a week for 4 weeks. After Monday the plan currently is to go home and return each week for the treatments. The hospital is not very far from home. That in itself is a blessing.
We are still learning more every day about this disease and how to fight it.
I know the prayers work. Just the other day the prognosis was ‘untreatable’ and now it is very treatable. It has been a real roller coaster ride lately. A lot of it I can’t even get straight in my mind yet.
Again, thank you all very very much for your prayers. We have such wonderful people here on FR.

Lord, You know who Lynn is. And You know her loving husband. You know and I’m sure saddened that Lynn is fighting cancer. You have said that we may ask and that You will hear. We will receive. Lord, I am asking for a healing for Lynn. I’m asking for comfort for her husband, Steve. Please also guide the hands, hearts, and minds of her physicians. I thank you Lord for answering this prayer. Steve, Keep the faith that our Lord God shall allow all your wife's treatments to work as planned, and that in the near future you and she shall be told her cancer is gone.
Faith in God abounds much in the heart of HIS. It pleases HIM. I earnestly hope in prayer HE shall find favor in your case.
I have become a more casual viewer and less participator at this site in recent times.
But due to Onyx, I could not help but notice this post for prayer for a fellow American patriot's needs.

I appreciate your update and ping. More prayers being said for you, your wife (Lynn) and your family. It is good news what was diagnosed untreatable is currently diagnosed as treatable. Hold on to the good news, Steve. Your mind will follow in all that is good and God does his miracles, as you know, every day with and without the help of modern medicine.

Not unusual so much information can seem overwhelming. But the Lord knows what it’s all about... so when you can’t figure out what it all entails exactly..He has His pulse on it all...it is then just trust Him to guide the Doctors and the Medical team whose care He’s appointed your beloved to.
