Our good friend, RedMDer's beautiful wife, Lynn is in ICU at a hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Yesterday, the news RedMDer received from two doctors was grim, but today, another wonderful doctor said that he thought her condition was "treatable." PRAISE GOD!
According to the note I received from Steve just a little earlier tonight, he thought they might start Lynn on chemo tonight!!!
I am not privy to all the details and it's not my business, but please, please, pray for Lynn's complete healing, and add some prayers for RedMDer(Steve) their two, beautiful adult daughters and their two darling granddaughters.
Lynn has been to so many doctors over the past two years and now this. At least we have hope.
Dear Lord, please hear our prayers.
Adding my prayers to yours for complete healing and restoration in Jesus Holy Name.
May the Lord send his legion of Angels to encamp around Steve, Lynn and his family to offer them courage, strength and peace and comfort in this difficult time.
May the Holy Spirit bring wisdom and strength to the doctors, nurses and all who care for Lynn in their efforts to bring healing to this precious woman!
May Jesus and his Holy Mother Mary in her compassion and prayers bring healing to Lynn and we pray that she receive a full recovery.
Thank you very much dear onyx for posting this thread.
Thank you all very much and may God Bless each of you.
Lynn’s diagnosis is small cell cancer of the right lung.
The cancer grew very rapidly and the hope is that it will also shrink quickly and kill many of the cancer cells.
The chemo was postponed until today. The first chemo treatment started at about 4pm. The schedule will be 3 days a week for 4 weeks. After Monday the plan currently is to go home and return each week for the treatments. The hospital is not very far from home. That in itself is a blessing.
We are still learning more every day about this disease and how to fight it.
I know the prayers work. Just the other day the prognosis was ‘untreatable’ and now it is very treatable. It has been a real roller coaster ride lately. A lot of it I can’t even get straight in my mind yet.
Again, thank you all very very much for your prayers. We have such wonderful people here on FR.
Steve
You and Lynn both have my prayers for a complete recovery.
Thank you so very much! God Bless.
Prayers for you.
My husband has the same thing. He was diagnosed in July, 2012. He has had chemo, every three weeks since then and is doing well. He has developed interstitial lung disease so be on the lookout for that.
He has gone turkey hunting for the weekend.
Best wishes for great doctors and God’s hands to guide them.
Prayers continue for Lynn to have a complete recovery! God bless you both!
Thank you very much, KC! May God Bless you and yours.
Thank you very much for the information. That gives us even more hope. God Bless.
Keep the faith Steve! Which I know you are doing...
She can come through this, continued prayers.
Thank you very much! God bless.
Thank you! God Bless. Yes, you’re right. She can get through this.
Dear Man, my church is praying too! God’s love to you and Lynn. You’ve both had such a hard time. Bless you and your family.
