Three years after he launched himself on an unsuspecting American public as a prime-time interrogator of politicians and celebrities, Piers Morgan has admitted defeat in the nightly ratings battle and plans to step down from his CNN show.

Alex got the ball rolling and now the Brit is becoming history.Send this idiot back to the UK!
my question exactly.
Who needs Lord Haw-Haw when we have plenty of home-grown fascists in our national media?
With Piss Mogun leaving CNN some village idiot will have to fight to keep his job from a idiot of world renown.
Good riddance to the little snobbish wanker
Piss? ((snicker)) ...hadn’t heard that one.
Who is this guy? I never saw him.
"... Mr. Morgans approach to gun regulation was more akin to King George III, peering down his nose at the unruly colonies and wondering how to bring the savages to heel. He might have wanted to recall that part of the reason the right to bear arms is codified in the Constitution is that Britain was trying to disarm the citizenry at the time."
GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH.
How can America possibly be fed up on Piers Morgan?
Only 1% of them have ever seen his show.
Only another 4% have ever heard of him.
That leaves 95% of America who have no idea who Piers Morgan is. How can they possibly be "fed up on him"?
“If CNN was smart they would replace Piers with a conservative, a real conservative. But CNN isnt smart and apparently they dont care about ratings so they will replace Piers with another liberal hack. Who, like Piers, will fail.”
Not necessarily a conservative but someone who at least makes the attempt to be unbiased, present all sides of an issue and has the intellectual integrity to not not misrepresent the views and opinions of the people he interviews.
Actually, in fact it might take a conservative to do that as it implies the person has some integrity and thinking skills.
CNN fired him several months ago and that would happen when his contract was up so it must be up now. His manager and CNN were talking about maybe a late night show at that time but definitely removing him from the slot he had. So, guess the late night thing didn’t work. GOOD! GOOD! Let him go back to England except my son the director of documentary films who lives in England, says people producing good films don’t want him back as his methods were giving all of them a bad name.
Hard to imagine that Americans wouldn’t fall in love with a snug self-righteous Brit who couldn’t help lecturing us on how to run our country.
See my #35, he was fired.
Well, ... Bye!
“Send this idiot back to the UK!”
They don’t want him back!
Not to the first Brit to realize the Colonials aren’t doormats, but you’d think a short course in our history might have spared him the humiliation.
That would be 53.
