WorldNet Daily editor Joseph Farah has claimed numerous times that President Obama was not born in the US, even though Obama has released both his short-form and long-form birth certificates, proving he was born in Hawaii.
Farah is now strongly supporting Canadian-born Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) for president.
While that might sound hypocritical to most, Farah claims he can do so because the so-called media elite ignored his "birther" theory about Obama.
In a recent op-ed, Farah praised sen. Cruz for releasing his birth certificate, while attacking Obama for a "lack of transparency and thin paper trail."
Farah writes:
With all this heavy-duty investigative journalism and newfound faux enthusiasm for the Constitution suddenly on display, its obvious the No. 1 fear among the elite media is that Ted Cruz might actually run for president.
They fear him not because he was born in Canada. They fear him not because of any concern for the U.S. Constitution. I will even be more generous to the Cruz smear machine than it was to me when I questioned Obamas eligibility by rejecting the notion it is because the senator from Texas is Hispanic. They fear him because he is a bold, eloquent, charismatic, principled, committed defender of American liberty. Article Link: Anti-Obama 'Birther' Supports Canadian-Born Sen. I wasn’t spreading lies. I said what I thought was the truth and you corrected me. You can still do what I said before.
There has been no doubt that something was being covered-up about Barry’s birth. The question is what? I lean in the direction of his true parentage not his birthplace. Once they lied about his real father it created a need to fabricate later for student aid. At that time nobody would have dreamed he would run for President. When he did run for President they had to scramble to make the whole story believable which required more fabrications.
The newspaper listing in Hawaii at the time of his birth tells me he was born there. Occam’s Razor applies. The simplest explanation is usually the best.
A Y-Chromosome DNA test for Barry and selected male descendants of Barack Obama, the Kenyan, and of Frank Marshall Davis would prove conclusively of whether or not one of those two individuals was the father of Barry Obama Soetoro Obama. Who knows? Maybe it was the third man.
I’ll bet Reggie Love (the bodyman) could come up with a sample of Sweet Barry’s DNA.
Don’t know.
What we do know about Cruz, and don’t know about Soetoro, is that he was a U.S. citizen at birth.
It is only highly probable that “Natural Born Citizen” meant “born of two citizen parents” in 1789; it is not a certainty. The text of the Constitution makes perfect sense even if “NBC” is interpreted to mean “citizen at birth.” That would distinguish the citizenship requirement for the Presidency from the citizenship requirement for election to Congress.
There is no evidence that Soetoro is ANY kind of U.S. citizen, other than a crudely forged “birth certificate.”
Please feel free to believe whatever you want to believe. However the very first word in the memo is “claims.” It is Barack Obama Senior doing the “claiming.”
Barack Hussein Obama Senior claimed paternity of Barack Obama Ii as early as August 31, 1961, just weeks after the birth in an interview with the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
This is where i’m at. Since article II is effectively a dead issue, we might as well support our best candidate regardless of his NBC status.
“Claims” covers statements made by Barack Obama Senior for the entire INS memo, so yes, he claimed paternity of a son, Barack Obama II born in Honolulu on August 4, 1961. It was not Mr. Wood of the INS making that claim.
That paternity information corroborates the Certificate of Live Birth data, the Health Bureau’s “Hawaii Births” Index Data, the 1964 Dunham-Obama Divorce Decree and the “Health Bureau Statistics” data published in both major Honolulu newspapers on August 13 and August 14, 1961.
Cute cartoon, though! :-)
My point was, the idea of whether George Washington was a ‘natural born citizen’ was irrelevant when George Washington was elected, and it’s irrelevant to the situation today.
You and I are on the same page there. In my view, our constitutional republic is a figment of some people's imagination. It doesn't, in fact, exist.
We patriots and conservatives really need to get up to speed with where the game truly is, and respond to the enemy accordingly. That means we need to stop trying to work within a system that only exists on paper, and fight to win our country back with the proper strategies, tactics, and degree of force necessary to win.
We’ll have to agree to disagree.
