I just wanted to request some prayers for my dad who is dying of cancer. He is expected to pass this week. He's in his 60s and has been fighting this for about a year. It's hard to see him in these last moments, struggling to breathe and communicate.
I also feel so bad for my mom who is working hard to make him comfortable. Fortunately, there isn't much physical pain but I kind of wish he didn't know he's dying. I want this situation to be over, yet I don't want to see him go. Not like this. Anyway, any prayers for him, his soul and my mom would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
Prayer’s up for you. I know what it is like, you wish you can save them but cannot do anything. I lost my mother November 18th, so I know it is hard. One of my fellow church members just lost his father too. B-( I’ll ping the keeper of the Cancer Warriors list too.
I lost my mother to inflammatory breast cancer November 18th so I’m in the same boat. My condolences to you and yours.

So sorry for your loss! Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
I’m so sorry you and both your parents are going through this, floridavoter2. It must be so hard for you to be taking on so much right now and to be so conflicted because of it. Here’s wishing you and your father peace.
Hugs and prayers,
Def

Prayers to you and your dad and your family.
May God comfort you through these the most trying of times.
Bless you all
Fervent prayers for you, your family and your father.
By just being there, you are doing a saintly thing.
I’m so sorry for your pain. I know what your family is going through because our family just lost my dear brother. And he knew he was dying too. His last days were painful as well and it broke my heart to see it, hour after hour after hour.
Too soon it will be over, so besides my prayers for you and your family, make sure you spend your time at his side, to tell him how much you love him, and support him and that you give him permission to go.
I share your grief. Some day we’ll all be able to smile again. In the meantime, God bless you.
Prayers for all of you. These things hurt.
It’s a rough place to be.. God grant your father His grace, mercy and comfort and solace to you and mom.
Prayers up for all.
At a school workshop years ago, I heard a nun say, “As we watch a loved one pass from this life, we say ‘There he goes.’”
Loved ones on the other side are saying, “Here he comes.”
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I lost both my parents to cancer in a 7 month period.
So sorry your family is going through this ordeal. It’s so very hard to watch the man that a child considered one of the strongest men on earth die in such a frail condition. My dad lost his battle in ‘08 ... Christmas day. The last couple of weeks were the hardest on the family. But once the battle ended we knew that everlasting peace had come. God wins in the end and he will welcome your dad into his arms on that last day. Take comfort in that. I will be praying for your dad and you’re family.
