Mark Levin opened his show today livid over Obama’s announcement that he will ignore the legislature and use his pen to write executive orders. He says the separation of powers are the key to our Republic and yet today Obama just announced that he would assume lawmaking powers via executive orders.
Mark Levin says what’s going on here is that we are witnessing a gradual, quiet coup:
He’s just announced that he is going to assume lawmaking powers. He does not recognize the majority in the House of Representatives. I don’t know how much more clearly he can say it. You know what this is folks? This is a gradual, quiet coup. That’s what is taking place. It’s gradual. It’s quiet, in the sense that it’s non-violent. But it’s a coup!

That may be so, but it is no excuse to not utilize the means our framers gave us, to make at least the attempt to correct past mistakes. There is no other way to possibly wrest power from DC.
Most state legislators serve part time. Rat and pubbie alike, many have private businesses and know full well the trampling of the states by DC.
When all is said and done, we have one last chance to avoid the totalitarian fate of so many failed republics since antiquity.
The House has the power to defund any of his machinations it wants. But they won’t, as most of them are in it to take all they can get too. That’s sure the way it looks anyway.
That may be the case for now ...... one can only guess how much longer that will remain the case.
“I am the Law” wants insurrection so that he can seize ALL control and kill at will.
It was neither quiet nor gradual and it happened while America was watching TV but heck at least Mark noticed.

I found a thread further down on the FR page that said it was about income inequality. He’s got a pen and a phone...and somehow is going to fix that income inequality thingy with those two things. Allrighty then.
