Phil Robertson has spoken out for the first time since his homophobic comments in a magazine interview went public and refused to go back on his controversial remarks, saying: ‘I will not give or back off from my path.’

The Duck Dynasty patriarch led a small Bible study group in his home town church in West Monroe, Louisiana on Sunday, granting MailOnline exclusive access.

And the deeply religious outdoorsman stood by his incendiary statements –

We're a nation with a witch hunt mentality. If someone says something that others don't like.....they try to KILL it. Exterminate it. There's never a discussion around the topic.

Funny, but when Christians spoke out over the Virgin Mary in elephant dung at The Brooklyn Museum, the left said "if you don't like it, don't go."

So, if the left doesn't like what Phil said, turn the channel. Why don't they ever take their OWN advise? Yeah, I know...

Although I understand the issues of freedom of religion and speech that are at the heart of this ongoing story, I think that the story of the Colorado bakery refusing to bake a cake for the homosexual couple is more chilling because you have an agent of the state telling a private business who it will provide services for. I think that all of the talking heads are missing a very important, teachable lesson by fixating only on the Duck Dynasty story. To me the two stories are one, for not only, are you not allowed to freely express your beliefs but you will also be told how, when and where to work. What do you call a person who fears speaking about their beliefs and is told how they will work?

Nothing Controversial either.

The Bible is the last word. there is no controversy unless you do not believe.

“I don’t think “homo” is the correct prefix though, and I’m not sure there is one in latin.”

I believe the use of “homo” probably originated as a slur against homosexuals. HOMO means same, homosexual meaning same sex.

I guess if the queers are OK with what was a slur being used for their now accepted title, then your study to arrive at homotedium is apropos.

I like it!

I’m glad he’s not backing down. Too many times people have tried to apologize (even though no apology is necessary) in reaction to the phony outrage of the left. Invariably, no amount of apologies are ever enough, and it only serves to encourage the left further. Our motto should be: Stand your ground, don’t back down.

The Left paints this educated man as a hick, but in fact he is a very smart and savvy entrepreneur.

Duck Dynasty’: Phil Robertson has master’s degree

Jason Kempin/Getty

March 1, 2013

The slow talking “happy, happy, happy” redneck star of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” has a master’s degree in education. According to a report on March 1 from The Hollywood Gossip, Phil Robertson attended Louisiana Tech where he also played football.

“It is hard to imagine Phil Robertson with a master’s degree,” Lisa Simmons, from Oklahoma City, said. “If you can get past his beard and drawl and really listen to him, you can tell he is a very bright and intelligent man. Too many people judge a book by it’s cover. You can’t do that with Phil [Robertson].”

While earning his degrees, Phil Robertson also played a little football. He was the starting quarterback. Phil Robertson could have easily played for the NFL, but gave up football for hunting and fishing. Curious as to how good he was? Terry Bradshaw, the NFL great, was the back-up quarterback for Phil Robertson.

Although it may appear the Phil Robertson doesn’t use his master’s degree in education, but that may not be entirely true. He must have used his education when creating Duck Commander into a million dollar empire.

No such thing as homophobic...they made it up...to make us all criminals...and haters.

In truth, we're simply following our moral commitment to our children and grand children.

They're pervs and they know it.

Although other parts of Scripture have been quoted on this Duck Dynasty issue with A&E, the following in Romans, chapter 1, is a key part and understanding ...

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,

30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;

32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

THAT would certainly be “dynamite” to LGBT-types ... :-) ...

I’m sure they are “foaming at the mouth” at this part ...

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness ...

Also, in reference to what someone else said about homosexuality being another sin - just like all the sins listed in the Bible ... I’ll have to point out that it’s QUITE UNIQUE in comparison to other sins. I said the following in another posting elsewhere ...

The unique thing about what God said in Romans 1 — is that this particular sin is actually a “judgement” from God in that He has them debasing themselves in such a way. THIS (what the LGBTs promote) is actually God’s judgement upon them in that they are to do these things to themselves. They, therefore, receive god’s judgement in the “here and now” for clearly rejecting what god has made clear to the,.

SO ... while these are all sins - fornication, adultery, thieving, drunkenness, slandering, swindling - and will not be allowed into Heaven ... none of these are, in and of themselves - a condition which God imposes upon people for their rejection of what God has made clear to them,

On the other hand — the LGBT lifestyle is a specific condition and judgement of God Himself - upon these people,

AND THEREFORE, God has put upon them the absolute worst of the worst sin possible in a human being - in order to thoroughly DEBASE them to the ultimate extent in THIS LIFE, in the HERE AND NOW and not upon “Judgement Day”.

LGBT-people are a “walking advertisement” of God thoroughly debasing someone to the maximum extent possible, in a human being. They are walking around with a “neon flashing sign” — saying — “Look at me! God has not even waited until Judgement Day to judge me!”

Yeah, you don’t see anywhere where God gives people over to coveting or theft as a judgment.

Time to quit using the word "homophobic." It's nothing bot a smear term invented by the sodomites to marginalize those of us who oppose their behavior. We don't fear them. We are disgusted by what they do, and recognize that it's abnormal behavior.

my fear of people such as Bin Laden is justified.

Being afraid now of OBL would be irrational. Being afraid of people like him is entirely justified.

It’s the Daily Mail; a UK rag. Anything that does not affirm the universal “celebration” of faggotry is homophobic over there.

A sad commentary on America that our rights are stripped from us with nary a whisper, but mess with a tv show and all hell breaks loose. I guess we should take our victories where we find them. Anyone who thinks Mr. Robertson was “coarse and crude” has never seen the video of a “Pride Day” parade. I heard someone on the Five, can’t remember who, say the sin Phil listed relating to animals wasn’t in the Bible. I would refer them to Exodus 22:19 that states the penalty for such acts is death. I emailed Phil reminding him (as if I needed to) that Jesus warned we would be attacked and vilified in His name. But also we would be Blessed for enduring the attacks on us. I only hope that when my time of trial comes, I can be as strong as Phil Robertson.
