Republican lawmakers are blasting the Obama administration's decision to exempt large numbers of people from having to buy insurance under Obamacare — a last-ditch attempt to help the millions of people who received insurance cancellation notices because of the new healthcare law. ....
"We asked Secretary Sebelius point blank what would be the next holiday surprise, and she was silent. Yet, here we are with another major policy shift," said Tennessee GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Fox reports. "The sad reality is that when the law takes effect come Jan. 1, more Americans will be without coverage under Obamacare than one year ago."
"Less than two weeks from going live, the White House seems to be in full panic mode. Rather than more White House delays, waivers, and exemptions, the administration should provide all Americans relief from its failed law," she added.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., called it a "slap in the face" to those already enrolled in Obamacare.
"Holding a fire sale of cheap insurance is not a responsible fix for a broken program. This is a slap in the face to the thousands of Americans who have already purchased expensive insurance through the Obamacare exchanges," he said.
The insurance industry also reacted negatively to the news, saying the decision to allow people to sign up for "catastrophic" coverage plans would cause tremendous "instability."
"This latest rule change could cause significant instability in the marketplace and lead to further confusion and disruption for consumers," Karen Ignagni, head of America's Health Insurance Plans, the industry trade group, told the Journal.

No one is mentioning the fact that doctors and hospitals won’t take the Obama garbage. Even if one signs up, it’s worthless!
How many will die because of Obama and every politician that voted for this DeathCare?
Any insurance company that provided health insurance coverage, and had gotten on board with the whole “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010”, in the hopes that a whole raft of brand-new coverage would be written, and that some of the new business would be steered their way, has just had their hopes dashed, foundered upon the false premises and false promises spoken over the last five years.
The major false premise was that the existing system was “broken”, i.e., a number of covered conditions now mandated were not even addressed, and there were “millions” who could not get coverage in any manner.
The major false promise was that “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Period”, followed by “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Period.”
Evidently, a LOT of people liked neither their plan nor their doctor, as for sure, they are not able to keep them.
“Crappy” insurance plans have been replaced with plans that are even crappier. Doctors, seeing that they will be the major target in any “cost containment” scheme for these crappier plans, are dropping out of practice and taking up other careers in their remaining years, while the prospect of training for and setting up in the practice of medicine has been increasingly avoided as a vocation, thus dooming the next generation to ever fewer medical practitioners for a growing population.
Call me when the White House is in Full Panic Mode over upcoming prison sentences. Until then its all sound and fury.

Below is a logical sequence of actions for someone without health care.
1. Do not buy it as it is expensive and the coverage is poor.
2. Pay for your day to day medical care from your own pocket. The money you save by not having a health care policy will be greater than your day to day medical care.
3. If you contract a serious disease that would devastate you financially sign up for Obamacare as it has no preexisting condition clause.
I have excellent insurance from BC/BS. If I were to lose my insurance due to Obamacare the above is exactly what I will do.
Prior to its passage, I was talking with a sheeperal who INSISTED that our present system wasn’t good. When I asked what wasn’t good about it, she said that the insurance companies had too much say over your healthcare.
“And you want the government to have that power instead?”
Yes.
Not much you can say to someone that believes that.

Enrollee: I spent all my money on the premium to get this card.

There MAY be games, but he is only going to see the Gay Athletes to Russia.
I sincerely doubt that. Obama will continue to spend hundreds of millions to "promote" Obamacare, and he'll simply raid the Treasury (with the help of the GOP) to prop it up financially.
Making exemptions for expediency, political cover, and by fiat is the surest way to create universal contempt and non- compliance for almost any law.
So, the people who already bought Obamacare paid more for the privilege? Santa got my letter!
