Below is a logical sequence of actions for someone without health care.

1. Do not buy it as it is expensive and the coverage is poor.

2. Pay for your day to day medical care from your own pocket. The money you save by not having a health care policy will be greater than your day to day medical care.

3. If you contract a serious disease that would devastate you financially sign up for Obamacare as it has no preexisting condition clause.

I have excellent insurance from BC/BS. If I were to lose my insurance due to Obamacare the above is exactly what I will do.

Just imagine if those of us with employer provided health insurance were having to deal with this fiasco!! What a nightmare! No wonder he keeps delaying that part of it, there would be millions more with no insurance.

There are mandated date spans that coverage can be obtained for the next year, usually Oct-Dec. If you get sick in July and try to buy a policy to cover that illness, it will not work. Coverage cannot be backdated. Of course all we have to do is wait a week or so and I am sure the rules will change.
