Evolution to blame for murder of millions? (Book Review)

A trip through a major Holocaust museum will tell you most of what you need to know about the mindset of the fiends who murdered millions in the middle of the last century. Poster-size images of death-camp inmates – all staring blankly – attest to the monstrous worldview of the prisoners’ tormentors.

What, though, really explains the Nazi capacity for murder? How could “regular people” slaughter children? What possessed – pun intended – Hitler’s willing executioners to butcher women and old men?

I think Jerry Bergman has figured it out In a new book, “Hitler and the Nazi Darwinian Worldview,” Bergman (a university professor for four decades) presents fascinating portraits of the top Nazi killers, the men who planned the ghastly Final Solution.

Although “secular science” has issues with his conclusion, the data and analysis are unmistakable: Darwin did it.

The overall premise of naturalism – that everything in the universe is random and purposeless – is a damning indictment of the worst elements of Darwinian philosophy. This mindset has created everything from schoolyard bullies to the Third Reich. Bergman’s offers a devastating critique of Darwinian philosophy, and frankly, his profiles of Hitler and his henchmen are so riveting, you won’t be able to look away. Even though you want to........

There is more intentional distortion of evolution than of any other subject I know.

Agreed.

It’s important to note that while Darwin’s Theory Of Evolution certainly did lay the groundwork for eugenics,

Leonard Darwin was the president of the Eugenics Society. Many winners of the Darwin Medal were eugenists. Look at my FR profile page.

Darwinism and natural selection has never contributed anything to science or life. It is a godless system invented by a godless man to show his arrogance against the God of creation. Someday the whole facade will come crashing down and schools that forbid the teaching of intelligent design will be scrapheaps of history.

That's a very good and accurate summary of Darwinism.

More about Darwinism here.

Eugenists won many Darwiin Medals. Maybe you are the one intentionally distorting Darwinism.

The influence primarily responsible for the modern eugenics movement was the establishment of the doctrine of organic evolution following the publication of Darwin's Origin of Species in 1859. —Samuel J. Holmes, Human Genetics, ch.25 (1936)

"The religion of evolution holds forth no hope of a perfect millenium in which all evil shall be eliminated and all struggle shall cease... There can be no progress of any kind without struggle... The struggle against evil in general is thus a condition of social progress... Evolution thus offers a rational solution of the great problem of evil. It has taught us that there is all about us a great and world-wide struggle for existence; that inaction and satiety end in degeneration and that advance can be purchased only by struggle, suffering, and death." -- E.G. Conklin (AAAS president, American Eugenics Society president), The Direction of Human Evolution, pg. 239--240.

Let me, even at the risk of talking about the familiar, sketch for you the broad outlines of Darwin's theory of evolutionary progress. The individual better fitted to its environment lived longer than its fellows, had more offspring, and these, inheriting its better fitness, raised the type of the race. The environment against which the individual had to struggle here was not only formed by the other members of its species, not only by its physical surroundings, but by the germs of disease of all types. According to Darwin -- and some of us still believe him to be right -- the ascent of man, physical and mental, was brought about by this survival of the fitter. Now, if you are going lo take Darwinism as your theory of life and apply it to human problems, you must not only believe it to be true, but you must set to, and demonstrate that it actually applies. -- Karl Pearson, Darwinism, Medical Progress and Eugenics, Cavendish Lecture, 1912, given to the West London Medical-Surgical Society. Originally published in the West London Medical Journal, vol. 17, pg. 165--193, 1912.

"As an agency making for progress, conscious selection must replace the blind forces of natural selection; and men must utilize all the knowledge acquired by studying the process of evolution in the past in order to promote moral and physical progress in the future. The nation which first takes this great work thoroughly in hand will surely not only win in all matters of international competition, but will be given a place of honour in the history of the world." —Leonard Darwin, Presidential address, First International Eugenics Congress, 1912.

Yet ideas do have power. One might use the Bible to justify slavery, but it’s not the basis of Christianity (or Judaism for that matter). One might also distort the Gospel (and Democrats do) to justify socialism. But once God is taken out of the equation, and the idea of survival of the fittest takes hold, abuses are bound to happen.

Those were military - battles, invasions. Not methodical planning to characterize members of your own nation, people who live on your street, as “subhuman” and plan their extermination.

As I wrote in a previous post, war is not the same as a plan to exterminate an entire people who live among you because they are vermin.

Oh, if only school teachers would stop teaching satanic evolution and instead, teach that the that the world was created on October 23, 4004 BC at 9 AM, Pacific Daylight Time, that grass and fruit trees came into existence before the sun, and that there are Fountains of the Deep that can cause massive flooding. Then there would have been no Nazis, Communists or liberals, and we would be living in a terrestrial paradise!

Those weren’t military, they had the goal of exterminating the ENTIRE group, genocide, even though we hadn’t invented the term yet.
