Almost all snow plows ready here. How’s your weather?

I planted my last Lodge Pole Pine seedling today. Unless we get a few nicer weather days (which it doesn’t look likely); that’s it for planting until next spring.

We had a couple nights get cold enough to make ice on the puddles, but this last week it warmed up into the low 50s and is still raining most every day.

I just talked to the lawn guys this afternoon and made sure I was signed up for snow plowing whenever we get more than 2 inches. Last winter just proved too much for me to handle the snow thrower. (I can do it, but end up crippled up for a couple days afterwords.) I’m too old, with bad back and bad knees and I have my trusty big yellow pusher shovel to clear a path for me to get out of the garage for work...after work I push all the driveway snow to the sides to be removed when the plow guy comes.

Good morning to everyone at the Canteen. 75º here this morning with high humidity to boot. We are dog sitting our daughter's dog this week, so I have had to walk two each day. He is one heck of a puller, but I've taught him to walk at heel in a week.
