This evening's commute was fairly smooth - a tad over an hour - not bad for a Friday. This morning was Hellish. Both of my usual routes south to the city were blocked. I learned from the radio that there was an accident in Rock Creek Park that would had tied me up for a considerable time. I did kind of a hybrid course between two of my old routes - managed to make it in under 90 minutes.

Definitely some dirt time tomorrow - John-Man has an 11 hour Liberty Sunday so we're bringing him home for that. The back garden is sorely in meed of attention and I want to get that out of the way before he comes home.

There is still some water on the porch, and the rugs are up on stilts attempting to dry out. However, the weekend looks good.

I have saved up a bit ‘o cash and am going to buy myself an early birthday present tomorrow.

After, of course, Lynn-dah and i do the yard sales.

What i want for my birthday is not sold at yard sales, because there is paperwork involved.
